"Hey, hey." I say coming into the thundermans house.
"Hey Lily." Barb greeting me
"Hey, where's phoebe?" I ask.
"Oh she went to stop something, I don't know I wasn't really listening." Hank responded.
"Wh-oh she's trying to get her cape huh." I realized.
"Yep, hopefully she gets it, by the way how's the mission?" Barb asks me as I sat down on the couch.
I sigh, "Good, I feel bad for lying to phoebe though."
"Well that's the had part." Barb says trying to Comfort me, "What's on your mind?"
"Well, I'm thinking I'm gonna tell phoebe soon, I feel bad, but I also don't know how phoebe will react when she finds out I have been lying to her." I tell her worriedly.
"Well phoebe is really understanding and she's your best friend, once you explain she will understand." Barb says while rubbing my back.
"Thanks, and I know I said this already I still feel bad for lying to her." I says before Barb got up and left to help hank with something.
Max entered the living room some how with out me noticing.
"Who are you lying to?" Max ask startling me.
I freaked out and said "No one." Maybe a little to fast.
"Your lying." he says before coming to sit on the couch.
"No I'm not." I denie.
"If it really was no one then why did I hear you saying you are lying to someone, also you answered way to fast." Max says smirking because he knows he caught me.
I sigh before telling him the truth, "Phoebe."
Max looked at me shocked, "wow and I thought best friends don't keep anything from each other." Max smirked.
"It's not bad, and I'm not telling you it, so don't try to figure it out." I say walking out the door.
Now that Max knows I'm hiding something from phoebe he will do everything he can to try to figure out what it is, we need to be careful.
~time skip~
I'm in my room when my brother comes in.
"Lily, I think I just got a new power." He told me freaked out/excited.
"What?" I said confused.
"Ya look." Marz says.
Just then my baby brother was gone and in his place was a pig.
"You can shapshift!" I say excited.
"So cool right." Marz responds after turning back.
"Ya, but be careful, you know max, he honestly could be watching us, i know that sounds creepy but I did say I was hiding something and he might want to know so he might be at least listening." I explain to Marz.
"Really it's not like he will just come up to the door knock and say I know your secret." Marz says sarcastically.
I was about to answer him before he turned into a pig.
"Really, a pig?" I ask him.
"No I didn't turn into a pig." He says, before coming back to normal then changing into a dog.
"Wait a minute, sense it's a new power to you it's acting up, you just have to figure out how to use it then it will stop, and try meditating it helps me control my powers." I explain to my baby bro before the door bell rang.
"Did you get the power to see into the future?" I askhim before going downstairs with Marz behind me, and opening the door,surprise, surprise, it was indeed max.
"What do you want Max?" I ask trying not to sound freaked out.
"My mom wanted phoebe to come invite you and your family to dinner tonight, but she is out working to get an award, so j came instead." Max explains.
"K, that sounds good I'll tell my mom see ya. I say trying to close the door before Marz turned into a dog or cat in-front of Max but it was too late he turned into a horse.
"Oh come on, you couldn't have turned into a cat?" I ask marz.
Max stood in the door way shocked. I pulled him inside and sat him in the couch before going to close the blinds.
I ask while poking Max, "Max, did we brake you?"
"Wait you have power?" Max asks finally comming out of his state of shock.
"Ya, this is what I'm keeping from phoebe." I said looking down at my hands.
"Why didn't you tell us?" Max asks.
"Well, one normally I would not have know you have powers too but President kick butt wanted me to see how you and your family will be like around non-sups. Don't tell anyone please only your parents know, and now you, I want to tell phoebe when the time is right." I explain to him putting my hand on his shoulder.
"Ya, no problem, I'm really good at keeping secret and lying when I want to." He says before getting startled by Marz.
"Thanks Max, oh and sense we are confessing stuff, I was the one who got you that hoodie." I said pointing at the hoodie he's wearing.
"Really? Thanks lil," he says shocked.
Smiling I explain, "No problem, I saw it at the store and thought you would like it, but I didn't know how to give it to you, so I just snuck into your room."
"Thanks lil, by the way, I got you that, well made it, it's made out of one of my guitar picks." Max explains.
"Thanks, and the other day phoebe said something about this looked just like one of yours and you said you lost your pick so I thought it might have been you but I didn't pay much attention to the thought." I tell max.
"Well, you should pay attention to thoughts like that." He responds while getting up off the couch, "I should probably get back home, and hanks again for the hoodie."
"Ya no problem." I welcome him, "and thanks for the necklace, I love it."
He smiles at me but What he did next didn't expect, he hugs me. Max thunder-man hug me. After a second I hug him back, I could smell his Cologne, it smelt good,
"Hey are you going to the roof top party tonight?" He asks me
"Ya, at least I think so, why?" I ask back
"Just wondering, I guess I'll see you at dinner maybe, and at the party." He said before leaving
after he let go he left and I headed back to my room. Not gonna lie, i like the interaction I just had with him, his cologne, I kinda wish we stayed like that all day.
(Knock)
"Come In." I say and saw my mum walk in.
"Hey hunny," she says come if into my room.
"Hey mum, what's up?" I ask.
"I just wanted to tell you that we are going over to the thundermans for dinner tonight." She informas me.
"Oh ya, I was going to tell you about that." I say remembering why max came over I
The first place.
"Ya I saw on the cameras." She says pulling up the camera app.
"Oh ya, I forgot we have cameras." I say turning back to my laptop.
"Ya, and I can't believe max hugged you." She says coming closer to me.
"Mum, really." I say annoyed.
"What were you feeling while hugging him?" Mum asks me.
"I don't know, well his cologne smells nice, and I guess it felt nice." I explain to my mum.
"Ya, just you wait, mama is always right." She says before walking out closeting the door.
I just stare at the door thinking. 'Why would I like max? I mean his dose smell nice, and he looks really good in black, and his hair. WAIT, WHAT!?!?'
