Chapter 13, part 3

Once I got dressed I walked said goodbye to my mom and Marz and went to go meet Max and Phoebe. I got to Max's window and waited about five minutes until I heard the window open.

"Hey lil you ready to go?" Max said being the first one out the window.

"I thought you couldn't come with us to he party?" Phoebe asked once she was out of the window.

"Eh the plans I had were canceled so I was able to come," I lied.

"Okay well let's go," Phoebe said leading our group to the party.

"Does she know where she is going?" I whispered to Max.(pretend the party is at someone's apartment building and not the school)

"I hope so or else we are really lost right now," he whispered back making me laugh and then covering my mouth when Phoebe looked back at us.

"What are you guys talking about?" She asked.

"I was just telling her a funny story," Max said making up a cover.

"You never tell anyone a funny story," Phoebe said not believing him.

"Well I decided to tell Lily one because it is taking forever to get to the party," Max argued.

Then the twins started arguing.

"Guys can you not fight right now I did not get dressed up for you two to fight all night," I said pushing the twins away from each other taking the lead.

~Time to when they got to the party~

When we got to the party I heard max and phoebe whispering while I was walking to the ladder.

"You guys coming?" I said looking back at the two of them.

"Yeah we are," the two said the same time.

I heard the sound of metal and looked back at the ladder to see it coming off the wall and the guy start freaking out.

"That looks bad," Phoebe said looking at the guy.

"I know those chips are gonna be all crumbs when he falls," Max said caring more about chips than a person.

When the guy was getting close to the ground when phoebe saved him from hitting the ground and when the ladder was back in the normal position he went up the ladder really quickly. I tried my best to look at phoebe surprised but I don't know how well I did.

"Lily I can explain," she said freaking out.

"Oh baked chips? You shoulda let him fall," max said taking a bite of a chip and them back," come on I know another way up.

~Time skip to when they are at the party~

"Hey Lily," Max said grabbing my attention from the food.

"Yeah what do you need?" I asked taking a sip of my drink.

"I was thinking since we will be getting home late do you want to ask phoebe if you can stay the night tonight?" He asked reaching around me to grab a cup to pour some pop into.

" sure but will your parents be fine with that?" I asked moving out of his way.

"Yeah I mean they don't really have to hide anything from you so they should be fine with it," He said pouring the pop into his cup.

"Okay I'll go ask phoebe," I said walking away to go find Phoebe.

"Hey pheebs I have a question," I said walking up to her.

"Sure what is it?" She asked turning to face me.

"Do you think since it is getting late I can just come and stay over?"  I Asked.

"I think my parents might be fine with it but I should ask just incase one second," she said as she pulled out her phone and went to the least noisy part of  the party and called her parents.

"Hey dad while I was out looking for people to help I ran into Lily and she asked if she could stay over since it's getting late and her house Is farther away than the place we are at now. So can she?" Phoebe asked.

Her parents seemed to talk for a couple seconds when her dad finally answered," sure sweetie but make sure you don't stay up to late," he said then hung up.

"They said yes!" Phoebe said really excited.

~Time skip to after the party~

We were walking to max and phoebe's house when I decided to tell Phoebe the truth.

"Hey pheebs I need to tell you something and you might be a little upset about it," I said stopping making the both look back at me and when I finished my sentence max looked at me with a 'are you sure' face and I nodded my head.

"Oh c'mon I won't be upset just tell me," she said smiling at me.

"Well I have been lying to you for a pretty long time now," I said.

"Wait what why?" She said and I could tell she was getting a little upset.

"Phoebe let her explain to you," max said trying to help.

"What is up with you max you have been acting weird ever since Christmas?" Phoebe asked getting annoyed.

"Nothing is wrong with me it's just you aren't letting her explain to you," he said.

"Fine Lily explain," she said giving me a hand motion telling me to continue.

"Well there is a lot pretty much the whole thing is that I know you and your family have powers and so does my family I got put on a mission to make sure your family didn't expose your powers," I said trying not to go to into detail.

"So you and your family have powers and we now don't have to hide it from you or your family?" She asked.

"Yes that is pretty much what I am saying I guess," I said slightly confused.

"Oh thank god!" She said hugging me.

"Um I'm confused," I said.

"I am too," max said raising his hand.

"It's been so hard trying not to talk to someone about it," she said letting go.

"So we're good?" I asked.

"Yes we are," she said.

"Good now can we go inside?" I asked starting to get cold.

"Yeah let's go," she said as she walked into the house.

"Well good night Lil," max said giving me a hug.

"Night Max," I said as he went into his lair.

"What was that about?" Phoebe said in a teasing way.

"Shut up let's go to bed," I said walking up to her room.

Well tonight was crazy.
