Chapter 14 Super cape

When I had woke up Phoebe was asleep so I did the only thing a good friend would do and wake her up.

"Phoebe get up!" I yelled in her ear as she jolted up.

"What was that for?" She yelled back at me.

"You weren't awake yet," I said innocently.

"Whatever, where's my phone?" She asked right before I handed it to her making her give me a smile as a thank you.

"Oh no this is bad really bad!" Phoebe yelled.

"What is it?" I asked looking at her phone.

"Someone recorded me using my powers last night!" She said showing me the video.

"That's really bad we have to go tell max," I said pulling us both up from her bed.

"Yeah let's go," she said speed walking out of her room.

"Max are you down here!" Phoebe yelled as we pretty much raced to his room.

"Tell her no," I heard a voice that was very much dr. Colosso coming from max's room.

"We've got a mess in our hands, someone recorded everything last night," she said handing max her tablet.

"Including me bringing back the cabbage patch?" He asked while being in a weird stretching pose and then doing the cabbage patch. I just noticed that he was working out in a tank top.

" for one no and for two you did not bring it back if anything you killed it again," I said making max look at me with a shocked expression.

"Ouch that's mean cause I totally brought it back," he said making me roll my eyes playfully.

"Just look at the video max," Phoebe said showing him her tablet.

"Miracle wind save rooftop parties," max said repeating the title for the video while watching the video.

"The video has gone viral," Phoebe complained, "if mom and dad see it they'll know it was telekinesis and realize I snuck out to the party and it's bye bye cape."

"Mom and dad are like 70 years old they don't watch viral videos," max said trying to calm phoebe down.

"I just saw a viral video on the news I'm getting your father and the five of us and we're going to have a talk," Barb said running down the stairs stoping on the last step before the platform then going back up the stairs.

"You forgot about the morning news, it's the internet for old people," dr. Colossi said to max.

"Oh yeah before I forget lily this is-" max said before I cut him off.

"Dr. Colosso I know," I finished for him.

"Smart girl," dr. Colosso said in a impressed tone.

"Let's go," Phoebe said grabbing my arm leading me up the stairs with max following us.

~small time skip~

Phoebe, max and I are sitting on the couch as Barb and hank were standing watching the video.

"Is that what I think it is?" Hank asked in a confused tone.

"Yup miracle wind give it up for Mother Nature," Phoebe said as we all started clapping.

"That wasn't wind," Barb said looking at us not impressed by phoebe's cover up, " monitor play the infa red."

As the video was playing it was showing waves of telekinesis.

"Seriously telekinetic waves? Somebody better start talking,"Hank said upset.

"Alright fine here's the deal," Phoebe said.

"Sir the one who-" I started only to get cut off by max.

"I saved that kid,"

"Max saved that kid. Wait what?" Phoebe and I said at the same time looking back at him.

"Sorry it was me, I was the hero who saved that idiot," max said walking a little bit to stand in front of me.

"So let me get this straight, Max thunderman saw someone in danger and saved them?" Hank asked sounding skeptical.

"Seems to be what we're going with," Phoebe said sorta quiet and both of us turning around to look at their parents.

"On purpose?" Barb said sounding surprised.

"Alright I get it. You guys don't think I can do something heroic but I did," he said getting annoyed.

The twins parents went to whisper to each other for a quick second until a banner came down and they both yelled.

" THE PHASE IS OVER!!"

Max and Phoebe looked to stunned to move which was sorta funny.

"We always knew you had it in ya pal!" Hank said walking over and putting his hands on max's shoulders giving him a kiss o. The cheek and then giving him a hug which divulged max.

"Let's call the hero league and tell them we have two teen heroes in the family!" Barb said super excited as the two ran out of the room going to call the league.

"What are you up to?" Phoebe asked suspicious.

"I want to make sure you get that cape and in return you'll give me access to the hero league's weapons," he said.

" max she said she wouldn't do that," I said upset that he had cut me off.

"What's wrong lil you seem upset," he said completely oblivious.

"Why did you have to take the blame?" I asked getting even more upset.

"I already said so I can get the weapons. Why is something wrong?" He asked.

"Yeah you could have gotten in trouble just because your parents got excited by this doesn't mean that you should be acting like it's alright cause what if they figure out we all lied we are going to be in so much trouble," I explained really worried.

"Hey we'll be fine just as all of us can stay quiet we don't have a problem," he said putting his hand on my shoulders making me look into his eyes. We stood there for a couple of seconds just staring into each other's eyes and it made me notice that his eyes are really pretty and they match good with his hair. After a while longer I heard someone clear their throat and when I turned around I saw phoebe just looking at us and I got really embarrassed.

"You two done?" She asked.

"Y-yeah we are," I said as max took his hands off my shoulders and looked down.

"The hero league is so excited Max," Barb said as her and hank ran to us from the kitchen.

"At first they didn't believe us and hung up on us, but then we called them back and convinced them," Hank told us super excited.

"Alert alert incoming transmission from super president kick butt," the tv said.

"Super president kick butt. Phoebe this is it I told you she'd call! Be cool," Hank said really excited as we all tried to look more presentable except of max.

"Hello thundermans and Ms.Lily," President kickbutt said.

"Hi," Hank said laughing at the end.

"Phoebe we're all very impressed with your recent run of super hero deeds, truly exemplary," she said getting everyone excited again.

"Phoebe you're gonna get your cape!" Barb said grabbing phoebe's arm.

"And now with great pleasure that I announce the last super hero cape of the year to," kick butt starts.

"Here it comes," Phoebe says trying to hold in her excitement.

"Max thunderman!" she says with a smile on her face.

"Huh?" We all say surprised.

"Did someone say my name?" Max asked confused.
