After the fight against Yoosun, Donald Na had instructed Forrest Lee to deal with Eunjang.

"All of you," Forrest ordered his underlings after Donald had left. "Starting today, if you see any Eunjang fuckers, take their money, beat the shit out of them in groups, or whatever. Crush them," His phone buzzed and he saw that it was a call from Phillip Kim. "Yo, Phillip Kim,"

"Ayy, Forrest Lee, what did Donald Na have to say?"

"What you think he said? He wants me to crush Eunjang. So how do I go about this? I need to make sure your boys don't get caught up in this,"

"Oh, how thoughtful of you to bring that up yourself. You know Forrest, it's really great talking to someone who has common sense, unlike Myles Joo. Here, I sent over a pic of my guys. Just don't touch these ones. Hey, wait...the blonde one's free game. He's no longer in my group,"

"Alright,"

Stephen was on his way home with the box of cheesecake that Jake had given him. He heard a commotion coming from an alley he was about to pass. He was about to just ignore whatever poor soul was being bullied, but he spared a glance and paused at the opening of the alleyway.

"Eugene?" Stephen stared at the scene.

Eugene Gale had been thrown into a pile of trash bags. The blonde guy that Stephen had beaten previously was also in the alley, but he seemed to be getting into a fight with two students wearing red vests from a different school.

"Hey," Stephen glared at the three boys. "Are these fuckers bullying you?"

Teddy Jin tensed up and paled with fear upon seeing the Nut Devil again. 'What's that monster doing here!?'

"S-Stephen!" Eugene called out.

'His face is injured,' Stephen noted. "Was it this fucker again?" He glanced over at Teddy, who became even more terrified. "You couldn't beat me on my own, so now you're teaming up with guys from other schools?"

Teddy flinched. "N-No..." He had tried to keep his voice steady but it trembled.

"Stephen, no!" Eugene quickly cleared up the misunderstanding. "T-Teddy Jin was actually trying to help—"

"Fuck you mean help? Dickhead," Teddy managed to regain his voice. "Why would I ever help?" He quickly walked past Stephen.

'Why was Eugene defending him?' Stephen frowned. 'That bastard's a bully and Eugene's obviously an easy target. He probably was just angry that someone was taking his prey,' He returned his attention to the Hyeongshin students. 'These fuckers don't look like the type to just let us go. If it's a fight they want,' He placed the cake box down.

"Hah, this loser's hasn't gotten hit even once and he's already down on his knees begging! Eunjang really is full of wimps!" All according to Stephen's plan.

Without warning, Stephen headbutted one of them straight in the jaw once they got close enough. He uses the moment of surprise to slam the guy's head down onto his knee. He threw the now unconscious guy at the second Hyeongshin student, sending them both to crashing the ground.

The second guy was temporarily pinned beneath his classmate, so Stephen slammed his foot down onto the guy's throat and face. Once he was sure that both of them were unconscious, Stephen finally picked up his cake box and started heading home again without even saying goodbye to Eugene.

'I didn't do it because I completely trust him. I did it because I was just repaying the favor. He tackled the guy who was about to ambush me, so me saving him from those bastards evens things out,' Stephen thought.

He became angry when he recalled Eugene defending Teddy.

'There is no reason for that guy to help Eugene so why was Eugene saying he did? Eugene shouldn't be as naïve as I was back in middle school,' He regretted brushing off Bryce's remarks that started getting nastier. He had thought that it was just friends joking around with each other. But looking back, he now realized that it had been the tell tale signs of Bryce's true colors. 'That type of thinking will only get him or his friends hurt,'

Teddy Jin didn't know why he stepped in to help Eugene Gale. He blamed it on school pride even though he actually didn't give a shit about it. He could've just let Eugene get beaten up and maybe even watched from around the corner. But he didn't.

He had watched the Eunjang VS Yoosun fight from his classroom window, having been on cleaning duty at the time. He had seen Eugene tackle the Yoosun student that was aiming for Stephen.

Teddy had been jealous of the scene.

He and his best friend, or rather it was ex-best friend now, used to be close. They'd go out eating and drinking together. Chad would drive them around the area with Teddy behind him.

Now that friendship was gone. He had thought that Chad would've still stuck with him, but he chose to suck up to Phillip instead. Chad had abandoned him and their years of friendship.

If a friend could just up and abandon him like that, why did Eugene save someone who was pretty much just a stranger? Just one of the many students in his class?

Everyone in Eunjang knew about Ben and Alex's friendship that went way back to when they were just toddlers. Teddy had thought that since his own friendship dissolved so easily, Ben would also abandon Alex if Alex ever lost a fight. But he had been proven wrong. Technically Alex didn't lose to Jack Kang, but he didn't win either. Their fight had been left inconclusive after Ben had beaten Jimmy.

'Friendships are supposed to be able to last through thick and thin,' Teddy thought. 'I guess my friendship with Chad really wasn't much of a friendship after all,'

Stephen's cake was slightly messed up appearance-wise, but otherwise still tasted amazing.
