Manshik Lee and Evan Yoo were walking through Sinpung when Forrest interrupted their conversation and beat up Evan. Manshik attempted to escape but Grape knocked him out. Grape took a photo of the two unconscious teens before they left.

"Yo Grape," Forrest instructed. "Call Helmet up real quick. In order to hunt down a dog, we gotta get a general grasp of the location it's in,"

"No need," Grape told him. "I saw a post on the Shuttle Patch saying that the Dingo's started being constantly seen going to Malkeun Hospital lately,"

"Is he sick or something?" Robin inquired.

"Sick or not, it's a weakness that we'll exploit," Forrest said. "We'll wait for all of them to split up and then we'll strike,"

"I really wanna fuck up Ben Park," Robin told him.

"Alright, you better bash that fucker's face in," Forrest agreed. "I'll deal with Ben Park's minion. Grape, think you can handle the Dingo?"

"It'll be easy to beat a mutt," Grape claimed.

"That leaves Gerard Jin to Scorpion then," Forrest decided. "We'll gather up the guys and go after them this afternoon,"

"It's the twenty fifth today so roll number twenty five, you're cleaning the teachers' office with me!" The homeroom teacher announced. "I do it too, so you shouldn't have any complaints, right? I decline your decline,"

Thus, Eugene had to stay back after class. In canon, Gray couldn't stay and wait for Eugene because he had make-up classes and had to go to the cram school early. In this world, Stephen didn't wait for Eugene because they didn't attend cram school so Stephen had no reason to wait. So, Stephen packed up his things and started heading to Malkeun Hospital.

It didn't take long for Stephen to notice the group of people in his usual route. He attempted to take an alternative route to avoid the confrontation, but the Hyeongshin students had already noticed him. "Hey, are you Eunjang's Dingo?"

"No," Stephen denied.

"Don't bother trying to hide it," Grape pointed out. "We know that the Dingo's always taking this route to go to the hospital and you're the only Eunjang student around here,"

'There's six of them,' Stephen noted. 'It's a good thing I decided to bring this with me,' In his jacket pocket was a can of pepper spray. 'I brought this with me because I didn't want anyone to get in the way of me visiting Gray. These fuckers are in my way,'

Stephen waited for the leader of the group to get closer before whipping out the can of pepper spray and spraying Grape directly in the face while also affecting the other thugs in front of him. Due to the close proximity, Stephen's eyes, nose, and throat became irritated too but he fought through it. While Grape and the other Hyeongshin students in front of him stumbled back and screamed in pain, Stephen took the opportunity to continue attacking.

Stephen elbowed the person standing closest to him followed by tripping them by kicking the back of their leg and slamming him to the ground. He stomped hard on their throat a few times before the shock wore off and the other two fighters charged at him. He knew he was outnumbered but he refused to give up. He'll continue fighting until the end.

Jake, Dean, and Timmy were visiting Kenny. "I also brought some flowers for Stephen's brother," Jake held up the bouquet. "Would it be weird for me to visit Gray even though I've never met him and Stephen never actually introduced us to him?"

"Yes," Dean deadpanned. "Yes, it'd be very weird,"

"I just kinda feel sorry for what those two had to go through," Jake admitted. "I'm also regretting reading about their past like that,"

"Since you've already bought the flowers," Kenny said. "You can go and put them in Gray's room. I'm sure Stephen won't mind you giving his brother flowers,"

Jake headed over to the room next door and placed his flowers in the same vase as Stephen's flowers since there was plenty of space. He was about to leave when a voice called out to him. "Where's...Stephen?"

"Huh?" Jake turned around and saw the comatose patient's eyes now wide open. "You're awake! I'll go get the doctor—"

"What about Stephen?" Gray's throat was incredibly hoarse and rough from not having been used for a long time. "Where is he?"

"He's been visiting you every afternoon after school," Jake informed him. "He should be on his way here," 'Come to think of it, he's later than usual. Did he have other plans today or did something happen to him?'

"I need to..." Gray tried to sit up and winced a bit. His muscles felt so stiff. "To find Stephen..." He tried to get out of bed and stand but nearly fell to the floor.

Fortunately, Jake caught him in time. "Hey, Stephen will get upset if you end up getting hurt. Stay in bed and I'll call the doctor and nurses, okay?"

Gray grabbed Jake's sleeve. "How...do you know Stephen?"

"I'm his friend," Jake told him as he helped Gray back onto the bed.

'Stephen's friend?' Gray stared at Jake as the latter left to get the doctor and nurses. 'Stephen did seemingly get along with all of our classmates, but they never considered him to be a friend. They all were just bystanders who let him suffer,' He clenched his fist tightly. 'Bryce betrayed us! He betrayed Stephen's kindness!'

He unfurled his fist and lifted his hand to his hair. 'How long have I been in the hospital? My hair has gotten longer. I didn't recognize that boy from Byuksan. Is Stephen already attending high school? Maybe that's where he met that boy who claims to be his friend,'

Gray thought back to Stephen. He recalled his welcoming smile and warmth. They had only known each other for a couple months, but they had grown incredible close. It had pained Gray when he had seen Stephen covered in bruises. He hated how he had been just a bystander like everyone else and didn't do anything to protect Stephen.

'I want to see Stephen again,'

Gray's awake!
