Puro's Story

Humane friend

-4 years later

Puro finishes zoology lesson 63 for the 3rd time. He barely keeps his eyes fully open anymore. His eyes are like semicircles. Suddenly the power goes out. 'What did those sharks do?' He questioned. He doesn't wanna move there and fix it himself. He soon realized that all the containment pods are open. The human is free. He smirks a little. He continues reading for another hour. Suddenly he heard the door open. There he was. The human. At first the human seemed scared. "Hey human. I see you followed my clues!" Puro exclaimed. "You've been asleep for about five years. It's nice to meet you! I'm puro." . The human seemed confused and shocked. "Five years!? And you were the one that lead me here!?" The human yelled, Puro's ears hurt from his yelling but he quickly recovered. "Yes, I was. I have no intention of assimilating you, so please calm down". the human steadied his breathing. "I bet all those monsters out there wore you out huh". The human nodded. Puro pats his beanbag and asked the human to rest here for now, reminding the human not to touch his tail. Not so soon later the human is asleep. Puro's body told him to assimilate him. Puro, however, wasn't gonna let himself do it. Soon later, the human wakes up and brushes the sleepiness from his eyes. He thanks Puro for letting him sleep. "You want to escape, huh". the human nods. Puro decides to help the human escape. But in doing so he risks dying. Not like it mattered to him. "You go and continue your journey. I will be right behind you!" Puro said with a confident voice, despite him being scared for what is beyond the white Latex territory. The human leaves and Puro throws his book on the floor. He follows the human. He hopes both of them can make it out alive.
