2 Weeks Later
Me and Kingston have been talking, and he's meeting my parents today even though we didn't make it official.
"You ready" he slid on his shoes
"Yeah"
We were meeting them at Olive Garden. We made our way there and got out.
"You look nervous" he kept tapping his leg
"Nah" he smiled
"Okay" I laughed
"Hey mom, hey dad"
"Hey baby" they both said and gave me hugs
"Hello, nice to meet you" my mom hugged Kingston and so did my dad
"Dang, I didnt know he was going to hug me too" he whispered
"Shh" we walked to the table and Kingston pulled out my chair and my mom smiled really big at me
"So, what's your name"
"Kingston...Kingston Daniels" he stuttered
"You said Daniels" my dad scrunched up his face
"Yes sir" he nodded, my dad nodded slowly
"But um, where do you work" my mom cleared her throat but I wanted to know what was going on
"I h-"
"Nah nah dad, what's wrong with his name"
"Don't worry about it babygirl you will find out later" he raised his eyebrows at King and he nodded
"Okay" I looked at the menu a little mad they are already keeping secrets from me
"So where do you work"
"I own a barber shop and me and my brother are about to start a Lawn Company"
"Ohh thats nice"
"Anything else you wanna add" my dad looked at him with sarcasm
"Nah, I dont think so"
"Mhm" my dad nodded
"Okay im sorry, I dont like this . What's going on"
"Tell her" my dad shrugged "And don't lie" he added
"Alright, im in a gang. My dad died and left it all to me and my brother" he put his head down
"Wow" I shook my head and got up to go to the bathroom

"B come here" he busted in the bathroom
"Get out of the girls bathroom"
"Nah come here, please"
"No leave"
"Im not leaving till you come out"
After a while I just walked out of the stall and he was right there
"B im sorry I didnt tell you"
"Okay"
"I dont think your listening to me, I didnt want to tell you because-"
"I dont care" I had just figured out that his dad killed my older brother
"You do, I know you do"
"No" I moved his hands from around me and left
"Baby girl" my dad went to grab my hand but I moved it
"Are you guys ready now" the waitress came and King was staring her down hard
"Wow" I laughed and shook my head while my mom ordered
After we ordered King said he wanted to talk to me so we went outside.
"What" I looked up at him aggravated
"What the fuck is wrong with you"
"Aye I don't know who the fuck you think I am but I am not one of your lil hoes" he sucked his teeth "and you damn sure aint gone act like I am either god dammit, now talk to me like you got some fucking sense dumb ass"
"Alright calm down"
"Mhm, why you was looking at her ass sitting right beside me and my parents"
"I wasnt looking at nobody ass"
"So you wanna fucking lie right in my fucking face" I put my finger in his face
"Nah, B maybe I glanced but I wasnt staring or nothing" I laughed
"You think im a fucking joke don't you, you really haven't got through your fucking head that I am not the one you wanna fucking play with . I will rip all your clothes up right now, right here and have you out here naked and looking stupid"
"Chill tf out, okay B im sorry"
"Always sorry, always god damn sorry"
"B come here" he grabbed my waist "You know I want you, and only you so stop acting like this"
"Im hurt, I was lied to, betrayed. Im just hurt and your not being here for me right now King"
"Im sorry" he bent down and kissed me "I will be here for you, no matter what"
