Y/n's pov

"So to put it simply, the shooting stars were actually meteors and when someone touches them, they fall asleep and dream about a cold mountain. And also cannot be woken up untill someone destroys the meteors around the place where they are?" I asked.

They all noded. "As far as we know, yeah" Paimon claimed.

"Okay, first things first, we need to get out of the city. There's too much magical disturbance here... Let's head somewhere where the ley line flow is a little smoother." Mona said.

"Lead us then, Mona." I smiled at her.

*Time skip / a few minutes later*

Y/n's pov

We followed Mona out of Mondstadt, through Windrise and finally stopped on a small cliff between Windrise and Falcon Coast.

The sky was so clear, that even Mondstadt could still be seen from here.

"Wide open space... clear sky..." Mona said and unlike from others i could hear the excitement in her voice.

"This will do nicely" She added.

'Must admit that the view and scenery here is also beautiful.'

"I will now begin the process of hydromacy. Stay back and do not impede my vision." Mona announced.

While she got into work, i turned my attention back to my surroundings.

The wind and sun rays softly tickled my cheeks.

"Whatever it was you just did Mona, it looked awesome!" Paimon stated.

I may did not pay much attention to what they were talking about due to being lost in the in my thoughts, but i could hear that specific line and it made me smile.

"How strange... I've never seen this before." Mona said thoughtfully and it got my attention fully.

I and Lumine looked at each other, a bit worried what's wrong.

"The divination shows that these meteorites came from someone's constellation." Mona said as we looked back at her.

I looked at her surprised. "Constellation?"

"But they don't have anything to do with real astrology... Do they?" Paimon continued my question.

"That's what most people tend to think. But i've studied astrology for a very long time, and i know a few things about them that you might not." Mona claimed and started explaining. "The stars that make up a constellation are genuine celestial bodies in depths of space. The strange thing is that they turned to meteors all of a sudden and fell from the sky..."

Then Fischl spoke again. "A curse! A wretched curse, i say!"

'Here we go again with Fischl and her mostly correct tips'

"A curse!?" Mona looked at her surprised.

"I, too, have journeyed to the stars, gazed beyond the veil of darkeness and glimpsed a shred of the truth. There, i saw a world cursed by human malice. Only one who died the most agonizing of deaths could leave behind such a vengeful spirit... We must find the doer of this diabolical deed!" Fischl claimed.

Mona came closer to her. "Sorry, i'm not quite following you... What curse? And-" Mona asked, but i interupted her.

"Don't take every word Fischl says too literally." I told Mona and gave her a signal to just agree with what Fischl said.

'I swear, me and Oz are the only ones here who understands her'

And so Mona did just as i signaled. "Oh... Oh, i understand."

" Marvelous! The astral emissary understands at last!" Fischl said happily and Oz adedd. "Mutual understanding is the crucial first step towards effective teamwork. Welcome to the team, Mona."

I giggled and for a moment i stopped paying attention to others again.

In the meantime Mona was praising herself.

'A meteorites from someone's constellation...'

'That makes people fall aslpeed and dream about climbing a snowy montain...'

So lost in my thoughts, it took me a while to realize that Lumine was talking to me. "Hey Yln? We should get going." She said.

"Huh? Where?" I replied confused.

"Destroy some meteorites." Lumine stated.

"Oh... Y-yeah... Righ..." I said and followed Lumine.

*Time skip / a few hours later*

Y/n's pov

After destroying who knows how many meteorites, all of the others went back to Mona.

Well, except me. I was still trying to make sure there aren't any meteorites near. And not so long after, i made my way back to them too.

When i finally came back to them i was surprised, because there was no one but Mona.

I ran to her and she noticed me immediately. "Where is everyone? I thought they where on the way back here..." I said confused.

"Hm? They left to Qingce Village a while ago." She answered.

"Oh... So it's us alone again hm..." I said and looked into the sky.

She turned to me a bit mad. "What? You hate the idea of being alone with me that much?" She said slightly annoyed.

"No, of course not! I meant it like- uhhhh whatever" I sat on the grass and leaned my back against a tree.

*Time skip / a few minutes later*

Y/n's pov

The whole time Mona didn't talk with me at all, she was busy with her own business. I on the other hand was just relaxing and watching the scenery of Windrise.

When i realized others were coming back i stood up.

"Oi Mona, they're back." I said and ran to them with Mona following me.

"Hey guys! Did you find something?" I asked excitedly.

"Yeah we did!" Paimon replied.

"An ice capped mountain looms over the world from far above the clouds... That is the place from which this burgeoning darkness proceeds." Fischl explained.

"Ice-capped mountain? Is that all?" Mona complained.

'C'mon Mona give them some praise, after all they found out something.'

"It is the same ice capped mountain in everyone's dream." Lumine stated.

"It's really high mountain that no-one's ever seen before and it's super cold up there. The sleepers are focused to try and climb to the summit, but they don't know why..." Paimon adedd.

"What kind of person would wish to reach the summit of that mountain? And how is their desire strong enough to control people by it?" I asked.
