Chapter two: The Viridian forest

Time. Space. Reality. It's more than a linear path. "PIKACHU ARE YOU OKAY!?"


"I will fix this, I will make things great again..."

Suddenly a powerful roar was heard and time itself was shaken so badly things began to reverse to beginning, before things went too far another roar was heard, stabilising the previous one so time was stuck in one point.

Ash POV

'what a weird dream...' I thought to myself, yesterday night I had made it to the Viridian city pokémon center and had Nurse Joy heal Pikachu, we were currently just resting to get ready for a long trek for today, and just as we were going to leave the orange-haired girl whose bike I stole had stormed in "IT'S YOU!" she pointed at me, I put on my best dumbfounded look but I wasn't fooling her "YOU STOLE MY BIKE AND LEFT IT IN THIS CONDITION!" she said as she dropped a bike that looked like it was on the verge of turning to ash.

I would sheepishly smile however that can only get you so far in life, "W-WAIT, MY PIKACHU WAS IN DANGER, AND I HAD TO OTHERWISE HE COULD HAVE DIED!" she paused for a second and then sat down "WELL YOU OWE ME, SO UNTIL YOU CAN PAY ME BACK FOR THAT BIKE I'M GONNA BE RIGHT ON YOUR TAIL!" 

"But I don't have a tail-" 


"IT'S A METAPHOR!"

"A Metapod? WHERE!" 

Yeah I got slapped for that one.

I sent all the pokémon I caught to Professor Oaks lab and called my mother "Wow Ash you're already in Viridian city!? It took your father four days to get there!" I would chuckle.

'but it took your brother an hour...' 

"He would really be proud of you ya know!" Delia would say "Wow I hope so, I haven't heard from him in a while ever since he went to Hoenn to train!" I'd respond, after that the call got cut because the lights went out and when the emergency power supply turned on me, the orange hared girl and nurse joy were facing a pair with R symbols on their shirts, one pink hair and the other purple.

Third person POV

"Prepare for trouble."

"And make it double"

"To protect the world from devastation"

"To unite  all people within our nation"

"To denounce the evils of truth and love"

"To extend our reach to the stars above!"

"JESSIE!" The pink haired lady would exclaim.

"JAMES!" the purple haired one would follow up while holding a rose.

and then suddenly a Meowth came out "MEOWTH THATS RIGHT!" it said.

"Woah a talking pokémon!?" Ash and Misty would say in unison, shocking them both but the Meowth just scoffed and scratched both of their faces which was met with a double shriek of pain, the two children slamming their fists into the Meowths face.

"WHAT DO YOU GUYS WANT!" Ash would ask CALMLY. Team rocket would smile "To steal all the pokémon in this centre of course!" they said cockily. "You guys will never get my Pikachu!" Ash quickly responded but the rocket duo fell into laughter "What the hell would we want with that electric rodent, we're here for all the rare pokémon!".

"Why don't instead of you tryna get some pokémon, you get some bitches instead." Ash would say to James, James fell onto the floor "THAT'S WHY I'M LOOKING FOR A GARDEVOIR YOU IGNORANT CHILD!" Ash would just sigh and smack his head "Disappointment of a man." 

Jessie was clearly angered by Ash's statement so she sent out Jame's Koffing and her Ekans "Ekans use lick on the boy and Koffing use poison gas!" Ash's eyes would widen as he saw the attacks incoming but suddenly Pikachu jumped from a stroller and used thundershock taking out the Koffing instantly "Okay Pikachu now use tail whip on the Ekans to lower its defence" Pikachu would comply and lower the Ekans defence with tail whip, dodging an incoming tackle "Now use Thunder!" but Pikachu simply did not have energy to use it once more so it used Thunderbolt instead "Well that works too!" Ash would say as Pikachu then took out the Ekans.

Ash would run and catch Pikachu from the air and team rocket were sent flying away...no that's not right..."TEAM ROCKETS BLASTING OFF AGAIN!!!!" said Jessie, James, Meowth, Koffing and Ekans.

 Ash would then get Pikachu healed for the second time and after 10k pokédollars in compensation him and the orange haired girl now known as Misty would leave for the Viridian forest north of the city, while they made their way there Ash would fight a few bug catchers but would easily defeat them with Pikachu.

"Hey Misty would you consider bug catchers as serious trainers??" Ash would ask the girl walking behind him, she continued walking thinking for a bit "No, it's more of a hobby for them." she responded "BUT DON'T TALK TO ME LIKE WE'RE FRIENDS OKAY, YOU JUST OWE ME A BIKE SO DON'T GET ANY IDEAS!" she'd yell at Ash, Ash just looking dumbfounded.

After a few minutes they had reached the gates to viridian forest which they then entered, Misty was horrified on the amount of bug Pokémon and pointed out a Caterpie, this was retorted by Ash going to actually try and capture it to annoy Misty "Pikachu use thunder-shock but at a low voltage!" Ash commanded and Pikachu would jump off his shoulder, using a weak thunder-shock that weakened the Caterpie heavily, Ash'd then chuck a ball at it.

two...

three...

ping!

after the ball had rolled three times sparkles came out signifying Ash had caught the Caterpie "WOOHOO! I CAUGHT A CATERPIE!" Ash would flex, Misty jumping back in disgust, after a bit of walking they'd set up camp, Ash training Pikachu and Caterpie, they wandered off a bit and found a Pidgeotto eating "Okay Caterpie you're up! Use tackle" Ash would command, Caterpie tackling the gigantic bird with fear in its eyes, the Pidgeotto would try to use gust but Caterpie out of fear and necessity evolved, then it'd use harden tanking the gust "Okay...Metapod..." Ash would say as he used the pokédex "Metapod use string shot and then follow up with a tackle!!".

Metapod would use string shot to trap Pidgeotto and then use tackle, Ash would then throw a pokéball capturing the Pidgeotto, after an hour Ash would wrap up his training with Pikachu, Pidgeotto and Metapod, then going to sleep. 

At night

Pidgeotto would just peck at its wings while Pikachu and Metapod would discuss their dreams.

Pikachu: I wanna be able to protect Ash! What about you Metapod?

Metapod: I want to become a strong Butterfree...

Pidgeotto: You are really strong...don't be discouraged, I'm sure with your strength you'll become one in no time.

Pidgeotto would encourage Metapod surprising Pikachu and Metapod, after their talk they all would go to sleep.

Bright and early in the morning


Ash and Misty would wake up to see a Beedrill looking through Ash's bag, by now the Beedrill had claimed Ash's stuff as its territory so Ash sent out Pidgeotto and knocked it out with gust, then capturing it, however Beedrill now saw Ash as its nest so it was mostly out of the pokéball and either on Ash's head or flying behind him.

Continuing to walk Ash had faced many different trainers and had beaten all of them

Pikachu (level 15)

Metapod (level 13) yes it should've evolved but it hasn't really had a need to despite wanting to

Pidgeotto (level 20) he's not gonna be lower than the level he evolves like cmon

Beedrill (Level 14)

however soon Ash, Misty and Pikachu would meet a Samurai who claimed to have fought all the trainers of Pallet, deeming them formidable foes "and you! You must be the dunce of the trainers, the inferior one you are an idiot!" Ash was annoyed "Then battle me and see if I really am an idiot!" the Samurai complied and sent out his Pinsir, Ash'd send out his Pidgeotto "Finish it with wing attack!" Ash would yell instantly K.O'ing the mans Pinsir, the Samurai shocked "w-what..? One hit...Am I that weak..?" He questioned as he then sent out his Metapod, Ash would retract his Pidgeotto "Alright!" he yelled as he sent out his Metapod.

"Use harden!" The Samurai yelled, Ash confused would wonder why he'd use a defence tactic against another defence pokémon "Metapod use tackle!" Metapod hitting the other Metapod into the air with its tackle "Now follow up with string-shot!" Ash yelled, the Samurai's metapod now trapped to a tree unable to move meaning Ash had won.

Ash would look at his Metapod "Nice one Metapod!" as he extended his hand for a high five and remembered he didn't have arms, however it was at this moment Metapod evolved into Butterfree and high-fived him back.

the Beedrill incident wouldn't happen because the Weedle never appeared and if it did Im pretty sure Pidgeotto, Butterfree, Beedrill and Pikachu would solo, free exp tho so lets say it happened.

Ash Misty Samurai Pikachu and Beedrill made it to the end of the forest, Ash and the Samurai promising they'd have a rematch one day (If anyone actually reads this story until after the seventh gym where Ash goes home please remind me about this, thanks!)
