Competence {A pokémon story}

Chapter three: Pewter city gym and Mt Moon!

Time. Space. Reality. It's more than a linear path. "PIKACHU ARE YOU OKAY!?"


"I will fix this, I will make things great again..."

Suddenly a powerful roar was heard and time itself was shaken so badly things began to reverse to beginning, before things went too far another roar was heard, stabilising the previous one so time was stuck in one point.


"Okay that's getting annoying..." Ash would say waking up in the Pewter City pokécenter's hotel room, greeted by Misty the pair would sit down and eat breakfast "So Ash, did you know the gym here was a rock type gym..?" Ash then looked at Misty like she was crazy "Well of course I knew that Misty! I'm the biggest fan of the pokemon league there is, why wouldn't I, and that is why for that reason I'm gonna call my mother to see if she can send me over my Poliwag since all my current pokemon are weak to rock, and it'd take too long to train up the Sandshrew in my pc currently."

Timeskip

Ash would rush to the Pewter Gym. Immediately seeing the Pokémon Gym building and would go inside,  going to the Pokémon Gym's doors.

Misty and Ash would then see Brock, the Pewter Gym Leader waiting in front of the door to the gym.

He'd would step forward and welcome the pair "So I assume atleast one of you is here for the Boulder badge correct?".

Ash would then get a flashback

He'd remember the training he did with a man named Flint (Brock's father) He had charged Pikachu's electricity and gotten his pokemon up to level 25 (this was mostly due to his Pidgeotto being a very powerful trainer partner and motivation boost) 

Brock would start off the battle with his Geodude, Ash would send out a Poliwhirl and on his command it'd use a bubble beam this would easily take out Geodude, Ash recalling his Poliwhirl and sent out Pikachu, Brock sending out his Onix.

"Are you sure you don't want to keep your Poliwhirl in, your Pikachu is in its cutest phase it'll never be able to win against my Onix." however Ash would just smirk at Brock, giving a thumbs up "I'm confident!" Brock would sigh and tell Ash he had the first time, this was Brock's first mistake as Pikachu used an IRON TAIL on Ash's command doing good damage to Onix, it backed up with an agility to get ready to dodge any incoming assault "Bet you weren't expecting that! I used a TM some guy selling rocks gave me to teach my Pikachu iron tail" Ash'd brag however losing his head he didn't notice Brock command his Onix with dig so Pikachu barely escaped taking a heavy hit by using agility earlier.

"Looks like I gotta pay more attention!" Ash would say.

"DIG AGAIN!" Brock would command.

"Iron tail on the ground!" Ash said confusing Brock.

Pikachu would listen as while Onix charged at him from underground Pikachu smacked his tail glistening silver right infront of where it was about to burst sending the Onix into the air as it tried to burst, then Pikachu jumped on the flying rocks, Brock distracted by the debris unable to do anything, Pikachu would then hit a powerful iron tail to the Onix's side knocking it out!

"ALRIGHT! Pikachu we did it!" he said as he caught Pikachu and high fived him and Poliwhirl. However just then the rock man came in.
