Chapter 4

(Kagome's pov)

I got to the feudal era well and I noticed that it was very dark and cold outside the well, *good thing I had a flashlight in my bag* I walked until I found a clearing, *I'm going to camp here for now, I will continue the search for the sacred jewel tomorrow*....... well since I already eat, I just need to take out my sleeping bag to rest, because tomorrow I will start traveling alone, and if Inuyasha and I meet again I'll just ignore him.

*Inuyasha won't recognize me, right? , because my appearance has changed, and I'm not wearing the green uniform I always wear every time I come back here* wait why am I thinking about that now, I'll just go to sleep I have to prepare for tomorrow.

(No one's pov)

Kagome hugged her one tail as she lay down * 'ahh' the softness* she said in her mind, after that she fell asleep.....

(In her dream)

When Kagome fell asleep and she dreamed of a beautiful lady "hello dear child I am Midoriko and I will guide you until you learn how to control your fox daiyokai power and I will also teach you how to control the power of a priestess, but before everything you have to learn where the pure spiritual power comes from, but for now goodbye child see you again"

"Wait, I still have a lot of questions" Kagome said but Midoriko had already disappeared...

(In the Morning)

Kagome woke up and fixed her bed, after that she took some food from her bag to make breakfast,
she cooked instant noddles for breakfast, after that she pack her things and start her journey to find the sacred jewel *Midoriko said she will teach me how to control my power, but she also said before that I need to learn where pure spiritual power comes from 'sigh' I hope she will also teach me how to make my archery stronger* Kagome thought as she prepare for her journey...

It's been one week since she start traveling and while she was traveling she found out where the pure spiritual power comes from and not only that Midoriko also start teaching her how  to use the power of the fox daiyokai and how to improve her archery...

There was also a day when she encountered a demon that had a sacred jewel in it but since she was practicing her power and her archery was improving she always defeat them but since she hasn't fully control her power she always run out of energy faster since she was only been practicing for a week....

She has been training her power for about three weeks and now she can control it properly and not only that Midoriko also taught her how to make the sacred arrow stronger "Kagome relax your body and mind, then gather the pure spiritual power in your body and slowly transfer it to your bow and arrow, if you speed up the transfer of pure spiritual power to the bow and arrow it may break or not hit the target so it's important to remember this Kagome"

"Yes" said Kagome *ok 'sigh' relax the body and mind, gather the pure spiritual power in the body and slowly transfer the pure spiritual power to the bow and arrow and release* Kagome said in her mind after that 'BOOM !'  it hit the target and broke it "Midoriko I did it! I did it! and I broke the target" Kagome said to Midoriko "yes you did well and now my work here is done" said Midoriko as she slowly faded away "wait Midoriko what are you talking about?" asked Kagome "my work here is done because I taught you everything you need to learn, goodbye Kagome and remember everything I told you" Midoriko answered as half of her body disappeared "Midoriko thank you very much for teaching me " said Kagome "your welcome" said Midoriko as she completely disappeared.

Kagome sat on the stone near the fire where she was cooking food *a month passed when I started practicing my power and archery with Midoriko's help and a month passed since I gathered half of the sacred jewel, It's a good thing I didn't meet Inuyasha during my trip, but I miss Sango and Shippo, I hope they're okay 'sigh' * thought Kagome while eating. After he ate he got ready to sleep...
