The Angel's Little Mermaid

The Diary

After Nightmare broke the news to his kingdom, all the mermans and mermaids cheered for him. They finally could see the sun again after trapped in the same spot for centuries .

"Brother, you're the best king in the world!" Said Dream while hugging Ink. Dream and his friends never thought they would see the sunlight again after the bloody war among the creature. Every one that hated Nightmare before because of his scandalous , manipulative and evil aura are now respect him.

" All of us could see the sunlight again! " Said Killer, swimming around the king. Nightmare just roll his single, cyan eye and give them a small smile. But of course, like Swad once said,  there's someone that remembers all the timeline and the past even before the destruction of multiverse. 

" Is it safe to go out now? " Dust look at Nightmare with his usual emotionless face. 

"No,  not now. Until the hunt for the Kings of angels ends, which is next month. I'll go to the surface next month and talk to them. They can't harm me. Even so... I want to see them try..." Said Nightmare, looking at all of his people.

"That's what all you need to know. You can now dismiss and do what ever you want. And,  don't go to the surface until next month. " Said him. Every mermans and mermaids nods their head and swimming back to their home.

"C'mon, mare. It's already midnight.  You wanna catch some dinner? " Horror asks him while looking at the fishes above them, near the surface. Small fishes could feeds the King for a few days, unlike the the deep sea creature that was mostly poisonous and they could harm the mermans.

"Maybe later, I've just ate earlier. I'll take a nap before meeting the angel. " Nightmare enter his bed room and look at himself in the mirror.

"It's been centuries isn't it? We could finally go back to the surface and no longer hide ourselves. For some reason, that bird reminds me of someone... But I don't remember where or when... Maybe it's just my imagination..."

He don't remember talking to any angel before. Not to mention, Swad is the king of Angels after all. Nightmare look at his refection and saw a black book under his bed. For some reason, the book didn't affected by the water. It must be his waterproof diary that he bought decades ago. He forgot about this since the day they were trapped.

"I don't remember about this book. For some reason, I know this book is mine. Maybe it has something that related to the war between races. Maybe it has something about angels. " Said Nightmare to himself. He look at the diary and saw that it's says ' Dear Marionette ', the name of his favourite puppet Error made for his birthday years ago. How nostalgic.

Dear Marionette,
today I've got a strange dream. In that dream, I'm in a beautiful palace (or mansion) that covered in yellow and gold. It's pretty and I like it. But for some reason, I feel something dangerous living in this mansion. Something that more powerful than me or any other sanses I ever known. Even just thought about it,  make me shivers as if I feel sins crawling on my back. That place is warm, suitable for my cold aura but it makes me uncomfortable. If I saw that place again,  I swear to myself that I would run away. But that's just a dream. It won't hurts me. That's all for now.

Dear Marionette,
I see that place again in my dream. As if it's warning me about something that might happen or something that already happened. Everything was blurry in that lucid dream but I saw one thing, An Angel. I've never talk or even meet any angel before and that dream makes me feel like I need to stay away from any angel in the surface, stay in the ocean to keep myself safe. But I want to go to the surface one day. The angel have a yellow coat, his face is blurry and I can't see them properly because I forgot about that dream. But I remember what the angel told me.

" You might be the worst person to the other people in the world, Nightmare. To me,  you're the world. I'll make you mine, making you my queen and my only mate. I won't let you go and I'll keep you, no matter you want it or not. You're mine no matter in this life or another life.  I won't let you go. "
I feel uncomfortable with what the angels says but I'll write a song here because for some reason, I want that angel stay away from me. After all Angels like him can't fly down hell with me...

Nightmare put the diary on the coral beside him and fell into a deep slumber.
