First Kiss

Nightmare put the book on the coral after reading them and fall flat on him bed. Killer already in his room before the king come back from his meet up with Swad. The crying skeleton look at his fiance and cuddles with him. He seems to like to cuddles with Nightmare and Cross, his best friend, when he's lonely or bored.

"Killer, did you know anything about the Crescent pirates that roamed a round the world? I need their informations to wipe out the angels." Nightmare asks his lover who hugs him tightly. He met this guy when he's still a baby bones, along with Dust and Horror. Yet, because he couldn't age, he can marry anyone even they're age gap are far from each other. Nightmare is currently 500, along with his brother, Dream. Killer, Dust and Horror are currently 24, a perfect time to get married and breeds. Despite being 500 years old, Nightmare never breeds with other mermans or mermaids before. That's why people always asks him, 'why he didn't breeds even when he's in heat?'.

"Of course I know about it. Horror, Dust and I already once heads towards north when we hunts for some food. And we saw them... The Crescent Pirates." Killer snuggle into the king's arm and slowly fall into a his slumber. Nightmare pat Killer's skull and kiss his forehead.'Thank you for the information, dear. That's why you're my favorite. Now... It's time to give the books back to Swad. Maybe I'll keep the last one. I still didn't read it.' Nightmare didn't like Killer more than a subordinate, but it's his mother's decision. He can't just disobey her. Nightmare know that Killer also like him, but he knew better. Killer love his royal guard, Cross. Killer only marrying him because he respect the exqueen. The king switch his place with several stone that wrapped in seaweed and slowly swim towards the Angels Kingdom.

"Damn it. I'm late. Thank goodness I remembered to bring the books along. Let's just hope he didn't go to sleep yet. " Thought Nightmare, with Swad's book in his hands. He arrive earlier than he expect at the island and wait for the golden angel to arrive. He reread some book while waiting for Swad to finish with his task.

"Delusion, how dare you arrange a meeting ten minute before I meet with my darling! I'm gonna be late! This is all your fault damn it! I'm late to meet my Nightmare darling!" Pout Swad, he punch his brother at his arm, making him messed up his writing. At that moment Swad knew, He. Fucked. Up.

"Just go to your fucking lover before I changed my mind, asshole." Delusion's glare makes Swads shivers and he quickly escape through the open window. Swad hate it when Delusion glare at him like that. In another life, that glare manage to get Nightmare's soul to fall on love with him. But fortunately he manage to assassinate him before Delusion manage to steal Nightmare from him.

"Darling! I'm so so sorry-! Brother force me to attend one of those boring meeting and I'm late to meet you." Nightmare chuckles at Swad's childish behavior and pat his skull.

"It's okay. I'm just came too early. Look. I already got some small fishes and a few stick around here. I know you can't eat raw fishes so... Would you help me lit up the fire and cook the fishes..?" A slight cyan dusts his bone cheek, a little embarrassed by the fact he don't know how to lit up the fire. Swad nods his head and use his aura to burn the dry twigs.

"Now.. Shall we? " Swad put a big rock beside the fire and let it sizzling from the heat. He spread a bit of salt that he brought along with some raw ingredients for seasoning since he know Nightmare would eat fish without cooking it first. It taste bland, and despite being a winged creature like a bird, he hates it.

"So... We just put a fish after seasoning it in banana leaves and wrapped it? And then just put it on the rock? You're genius! How long we're gonna wait for it? " Nightmare seems interested in how Swad prepare the dish. He never saw something like this before. He never cooked before since he lives under water.

"Maybe about 20 minutes. But! We need to flip them before they burn. That means we need to flip it every 5 minutes. We can make it longer if you know that the fish is still uncooked. " Swad smirks while looking at his darling. Not gonna lie, he scared that this would go to waste. He never used a stone that was heated up by flames before. He wish he could bring those gas stove back in another life.

"This is soo good! I never thought you could cook! " Swad can see Nightmare's eye glows in excitement. He take another bite, enjoying it.Swad also take a bite but almost spit it.

'The fish are still half raw, not fully cooked. Too much salt! Bitter onion! The onion not too thin! Too much garlic! Fuck... How can Darling loving this?' Swad thought to himself,and look at his beloved darling enjoying the failure.

"D-Darling, did you really like it that much? You seems enjoying yourself eating those. " Nightmare nods. His tentacle wrapped around Swad's waist, making him unable to fly or run away.

"Of course I do! Maids didn't even treat me right. But even though this dishes are quite weird, you still treat me better and even cooked me something. And most importantly, you respect my boundaries. My brother and fiance didn't care about my feelings and only about the throne. But you prove them wrong. Someone still care about me. YOU care about me." Nightmare slides forward, he's now right in front of Swad. A few inch from each others ribcage

"Darling... Thank you... " Swad hugs Nightmare and caress his back gently. He give Nightmare a gentle kiss on the 'lips'. Nightmare froze, but not for long. He didn't push him away. Instead, he hugs Swad, savouring their moment together.

Darling.... I wish you was like this before. Love me when I need you the most. I would still love you. And our new chapter only just started.....
