Macau and Chay getting paired up for was not in neither of their plans. Chay thought he wpuld get paired up with Vee he always did that how they became best friends. Chay was a bit scared of Macau he had heard about him and his brother but chay would rather get shot on the leg than to show his scared. Macau in the other hand was nervous and he didnt know why, i mean why would anyone ever need to be nervous around Chay.
Chay and Vee were sitting together in lunch discussing the project. "Can't we ask for change of partners? you and i work great together" Chay wined of course it would lead him no where Vee got paired up with Mark and as much as he loves Chay he will not change partners. "Chay it wont be soo bad the project is due in a month you dont even have to start it today you can start it next week you'll be more mentally prepared" said Vee trying to cheer up Chay. Although that didnt last long because Macau was walking towards him "ok fluffy boy what time do i have to come over to your dorm? or do you want to do this project at my house?" Macau asked and all Chay do was stare at him when Macau didn't received an answered he looked up and meet chays eyes.
Macau didnt know this yet but one day he was going to wish he had seem those big brown eyes before. "oh uhm uhhh i guess right after school? my dorm is 5 min" Chay said trying to not sound nervous trying to make it sound like he was trying to think of a good time to say.
Once Chay got to his dorm he started cleaning making sure all the clothes on the floor were in the dirty clothes basket he also took down his wik posters. He made his bad and cleaned his desk up a bit he made sure his mini fridge had water and juices he had also bought some snacks on his way to him dorm.
Vee and Mark walked Macau to Chays dorm. Macau felt nervous he didnt understand why he just was. Vee knocked on Chays and took Marks hand to lead him to his own dorm "good luck cau dont make that boy do all the work help out at least a little" said Mark while being dragged away by Vee.
Macau hears the door getting unlocked and now his hands are sweating and a bit shaky. The door opens and there stood a sad Chay you can tell he had just stopped crying his eyes puffy and red cheeks. "hi, come on in" said chay as he wiped his nose with the sleeve of his long sleeve shirt as he also opened the door wider and moved to the side to let Macau in. "you ok sunny?" asked Macau although you cant hear it in his voice he was genuine as well as concerned. Chay just nodded and sat on his bed.
"UGHHH SUNNY pleaseee lets take a break my brain feels like its going to explode we have been doing this for an hour please just let me take a breakeeeeeee" said Macau whining. "NO its only been 20 min c'mon you why do we need to take a break im kinda on a roll here" said Chay not looking at Macau his eyes were glued to his laptop typing and reading articles. "BUT SUNYYYYYYY IM HUNGRY!!" said Macau still whining like a child Chay finally looks up at him after typing the las words to finish his sentence. "Don't call me sunny my name is Porchay" said Chay with a hint of annoyance in his voice. "Porchay? but Vee and Mark call you Chay" said Macau "Vee is my best friend he can call me Chay and well Mark is Vee so i guess he can also call me Chay by default" said Chay.
Macau started making conversation at first was because he wanted to take a break from the project but now that he had Chays full attention he wanted to keep it that way. Chay had finally moved his laptop from his lap to the bed right next to him. As the conversation grew they both got closer. Macau moved from sitting on the chair by the desk to next to Chay.
Macau finally asked Chay "why were you crying?" Macau had an idea of who made him cry. What did you really think Macau would take some strangers Umbrella without getting any information about him. Yes they are not full on strangers they share a class but other than knowing his name and the fact that he had asked Chay to give him his pen they were strangers. Once Macau found him on Facebook and recognized Porche he went to Pete and asked him to tell him evrything he knew about Porche and Chay.
Thats when he discovers Chay is dating someone now that someone he never got to uncover but Macau was always an observer he observed people and thanks to that he learned how to read peoples body languages. He observed Chay from a distance and he saw how his facial expression would change when Kim was around. It didn't take him long to figure out who Chay was dating. Macau could also tell how much Kim liked knowing he had control of Chays feelings. He saw how Kim would hurt Chay and watch his how hismood change and how he would make it up to Chay just to see him feel confused about his feelings.
"Oh uhh soo my boyfriend actually broke up with me, he does this quite often he said he knew this project would take all my time up and how he has been feeling like im just distant and he knows it will just get worse from this project" said Chay. Chay would honestly never tell anyone his issues with Kim because deep down he knew he deserve better he knew there was a batter and he could have it. He just got used to this the toxic the constant confusion and the pain. Chay wanted the better he did but he just wanted Kim to be THAT he wanted Kim to be the better.
Macau saw Chay holding back tears he didn't know what to to but sit there. "Well thats kinda cowardly of him to be honest I mean blame you that just him being a coward not knowing how to take responsibility for his actions and decisions he probably think that by blaming you he can be at peace." Macau did not know where those words came from AT ALL it wasnt him to say something like this. Normally he just sits in silence or says "daam im sorry" that what he tells Vegas when he vents and he also tells that to Mark when he messes things up with Vee.
Something about Chay feeling guilty for something that he didn't do just didn't sit right with him he wanted Chay to be free of that guilt. Macau knew as of right now Chay would not feel better but he thought maybe he will remember my words later and feel better.
Macau was right Chay still felt like it was his fault. Macau saw the time it was late Vegas had texted him once asking him if he was coming home while Pete texted him 20 times and called him 10 times. Macau suddenly felt sacred of all the miss calls from Pete "let me sleepover please" said Macau in panic taking Chay off guard. "What? NO go home theres no room for you to sleep here" said Chay while pushing Macau towards the door. "please please just for ONE night i cant go home tonight PLEASEEE" said Macau practically begging at this point.
He knew if he went hoem he would get an ear full by Pete he did not want that tonight. Once he saw how close he was to the door Macau turned Chay had no time to react his head hits Macaus chest. "Dude what the hell why did you suddenly moved" said Chay as he takes a few steps back making space between them "ill sleep on the floor please just let me stay the night? please" said Macau.
Chay hated the fact that he looked up and saw Macaus poppy dog eyes "you can use this blanket and this pillow" said Chay as he placed them on the floor. Macau lay there he liked the smell of the blanket it smelled like Chay Macau looks over to the bed where Chay was sleeping peacefully. Soon enough Macau was also asleep.
