If It Hurts You, Why Don't You Let Go?

Macau left in the morning. Chay woke up alone in his bed he had gotten to used to that but that didn't mean it didn't hurt him, the pain was different it wasn't painful like when Kim leaves him without a good bye. Chay got up and ready for his lecture he woke up quite early, he decided he was going to go to his favorite coffee shop and study a bit he was going to do research for his project. 

Once Chay walked out of his dorm he realized he should take an umbrella if it was a random storm again he would actually get sick. Once he got his umbrella in his tote bag and lock the door and that is when he heard a family voice "good morning you are up early", Chay froze for a second and then turn around to see Kim standing there near the stairs as if he was caught on his way up. "Surprise to see me ?" Kim said and Chay just nodded his head with no words still a bit shocked. Yes its known that Kim will do this he will break Chays little heart just to come and patch it up and break it again. Still Chay would believe that Kim meant it when he would break up with him and say he was serious about and he would never see him again.

"Why did you come?" asked Chay as he was walking down the stairs with Kim "what? I can't come see you anymore? have you finally gotten over me ?" Kim asked in a teasing tone to which Chay smiled "no its just weird seeing you here i used to have to beg you to come you always say you wouldn't want to bee seen here" Chay explain Kim thought this is my chance to make him think I want to fix things and that is what he did. " I know I was an asshole before but you know I was under a lot of stress I didn't mean to hurt you as well just the deadlines where so crazy and near you know how I, I fucked up something good because I didn't know how to deal with my stress but I promise I'll be better this time I PROMISE just one more chance please". Chay was taken back from this but forgave him.

Macau ignored Chay all day at class he didn't even look as his direction no matter how much Chay would call his name he would not look him at all. This gave Chay a weird felling in his stomach he felt sick almost and he did not know why he also felt like crying because Macau was ignoring him. "Dude you ok?" asked Vee "no not really my morning was weird and now I feel really nauseous I dont know I might skip my last class" said Chay and Vee agreed he helped him to his dorm on their way they bump into Mark and Macau. "Hey babe you can go ahead don't wait for me after lunch I'll just meet you at the classroom Chay is not feeling well so im taking him to his dorm." Vee said to Mark but couldn't help but look at Macau's concern expression he was looking at the floor but you can still see he was concern.

Chay was calling Kim and of course no response but whats new not one single text to let him known he was busy nothing. This was starting to feel like the other times nothing new, nothing had change. Chay was disappointed but at the same time he wasn't he just felt stupid and there he was once again holding him self and wishing Kim would show up and hold him. 

There was a knock on Chay's door and he thought maybe Kim had read his messages and he was here to take care of him.  He ran to open the door excited and saw Macau on the other side instead of Kim. "Oh hey come in" Chay said in a low tone "you look disappointed Im not the one you were expecting huh?" said Macau "what? I wasn't expecting anyone and Im not disappointed just sick" said Chay as he closed the door "mhm well uhm I brought you some medicine and some porridge it will help you feel better in no time" Macau said as he placed it down on the small table Chay had.

Macau only stayed to watch Chay eat and take the medicine "ok well Im going to leave now" Macau said "wait already? but, but you just got here and you didn't even talk to me all day and you haven't told me what I did to piss you off you ignored me all day you only show up when you want to you leave when you want to, you don't even say hi or bye anymore you appear and disappear  whenever you want, you only show up when you feel lonely and ignore me when you no longer need my presence Im just a joke to you, a pushover" Chay said in anger and in tears Macau just stood there while Chay cried. "Hey hey hey that's not true what are you talking about? are you talking bout 'him' right now?" Macau asked worried he really wanted to know.

Chay didn't answer just cried. Macau held him and comfort him "you are burning up Chay c'mon lets get you under the covers. "I'll be back ok? I'm just running to the pharmacy to get you some medicine looks like it's more then a stomach issue." Macau left to the pharmacy and on his way back he kept thinking about Chay how he was crying, the sky was starting to get cloudy thunder was heard and lighting was seen. Macau started running towards the dorms to Chay. 

"You'll feel better soon hopefully the medicine helps if it doesn't ill go ahead and tale you to the hospital, ok?" said Macau as he looked at Chays puffy teary eyes "ok" said Chay in almost a whisper. "Can-" Chay started saying "can what?" said Macau "can you stay with me tonight?" asked Chay, Macau was confused and concern thinking the fever had gotten so bad that he was hallucinating "you know I'm Macau right" he asked "yes I know I just I'm sacred to stay alone tonight" Chay said.

Chay had always been scared to stay alone when there's a storm or he is sick. He thinks that he will got to sleep and never wake up. Porche used to stay with him through the night when he was sick or when there was a storm. As much as he would like to say he would ask anyone that was with him to stay he knew deep down that was a lie, he wouldn't ask Vee to stay because he knew Vee would probably end up leaving in the middle of the night  to go to Mark. Chay was never brave enough to ask Kim sacred he will get mad or he will just not care or maybe he would agree and stay but Chay knew he would just feel as if he was alone. 

"I dont get you Chay why do you let him treat you like that? I'm sorry to tell you that asshoke does not love you, you are now stuck in this endless cycle" Macau said after listing to Chay and what had happen that morning and how it's only been a day and he can already tell he was not going to change. " I apologize for this but if it hurts, why don't you let go?" Macau asked Chay and hearing these words broke Macaus heart "because I learned to like the pain he causes I don't think anyone else could ever love me and if there was someone else that would be capable of loving me, I think I would fuck it up like I always do" Chay realized how much he had been holding in he felt relive being able to tell someone how he actually felt.

Macau talked with Chay until Chay fell asleep "I promise I will make you fall for me and I will treat you so much better than he ever did." and with that he kissed him forehead goodnight and went to sleep. Chay opened his eyes a few minutes later "then hurry up and make me fall for you I'll be waititng."
