Angry.

No, her resentment was not shallow as the word 'angry'. Apparently, it's so much more. She was mad beyond mad, infuriated and pissed.

No amount of reasoning or the years they've known each other could ever erase the treacherous emotion they've given her, surprised her.

Nox couldn't contain her composure. Her emotions were all over the place.

Maybe she did consider them friends, no, more like her companions for the time being. Maybe that's why she didn't feel anything when Val and Ken died. Maybe they should've used the brains and be grateful towards Lawrence since she stayed for him.

Letting out a loud growl, she grabbed her blue cigarette case and took her third stick for the night. "I'm going to watch all of you die and fucking enjoy it."

"Nox--"

A notification chimed from their Skype call yet only the three girls took mind of it.

Billie227: ready for the bonus part?

And the two boys are still going after each other's throat.

"I told you I loved her man! She's still my fucking girl!"

"It wasn't like that Mitch! We were drunk and we wanted to know if it was a fluke or not!"

"It does not make anything better!"

Adam's attention drifted towards the printing sound coming from his part, "It's my printer."

When he returned back to his chair, he read the paper and his face churned, shaking his head. "Oh man, fuck."

Blaire wiped the tears from her eyes, "What does it say?"

"I can't, fuck, I'm not supposed to say what's on it." Adam frustratingly says

"Don't do this to us, Adam!"

"Adam, say it!"

Nox didn't spare them a glance as she turned her chair and faced her bed, hoping for this to end so she can rest from their bullshit and visit Lawrence's grave tomorrow.

To be honest, she's exhausted.

Exhausted from what's happening and everything that's been going at for an hour.

"--says I can't!" Blaire cries out

"I'm leaving, I'm done with this."

"No, Mitchie, please!"

"Mitch, don't, man!"

"Then fucking show me what's on the paper, Blaire! I'm not messing around!"

Nox's mind went through her recent argument.

She lost her child and they didn't feel guilty. No conscience. No nothing. Just a plain half-assed apology for getting caught and their lives threatened.

Why did she even let them worm their way to her life even further?

Nox jumped from her seat when she heard a bang from her monitor. She blankly stared back at her screen. Blaire was holding a paper that had If you reveal this note, Adam will die.

While on Adam's end, a stray paper was on the table. If you reveal this note, Blaire will die.

"You bitch! You killed Adam!" Jess sobbed pathetically

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! She was going to kill Mitch-- I didn't, I didn't know what else to do!" Blaire reasoned out

"...it just said to not show the paper.. doesn't mean you can't tell anyone about it." Nox whispers, remembering the note from a certain activity she had back in school.
