I was miserable the next few days... I wasn't willing to play with Sally or Charlotte... And all I could think about was... we both had a chance. It's just... I grabbed his hand... Otherwise he'd be alive. Now... He was gone.

I walked down to the lake were Ben and I had our last moments together. His last words: I love you two... I'll never give up in you guys.

Once I sat down on a rotting log, I looked down at my leather gloves. Ben and I used to say how my scars made me look tough but... He wasn't able to comfort me any longer. The green ribbon from Ben was tied in a pony tail in my long red hair. I just wore a red hoodie with black leggings. My mind drifted off as I cried at a few thoughts. My mind was injured and twisted. My sanity was slipping away from me. My life was over. The only reason I stayed alive was for Charlotte. The only true family I had left.

I started my way toward the shore, but I didn't dare get close to the water. It would be too risky. My brown eyes examined the it. The waves the way they were the day Ben drowned. Then, I saw something... Something unusual. I saw lots of dark red. I decided to creep a little clo- Holy s*** It's Bens blood! His pale body floated in the water, as I realized the thing clawed out Ben's other eye... I gasped and instantly ran into the water (no longer caring about the risk of drowning). His blonde hair was surrounding his face, and the blood was coming from his eyes. I was afraid the thing would come back, so I did my best to drag him out... His face was so.... cold...

My bare feet shuffled along the damp dark gravel as I used my hands to drag him out. Once he was on the sand, I waited... Just to see if he was awake. Firewood almost instantly caught my eye... Swiftly, I ran and grabbed the wood and placed it on the ground. Then, I used two rocks to start a fire. I know, I was afraid of fire but it was to warm Ben up!

If you looked at him from the right angle, he looked just like he did... Just without... Eyes... The bright blue eyes that could make anyone smile. Sure, his blonde hair his smile were amazing but his eyes would say it all...

"Alice? Alice?!" Sally and Charlotte yelled.

"C... coming!" I loudly replied as I took one last glimpse at Ben and ran back up the hill.

Once I was at the top, Charlotte ran back down...

"Wha- CHARLOTTE!!!" Static rung in my ears as I chased after my sister.

I swear if I lose her I'm gone too, I'm a gonner. Out of nowhere, a very tall, pale man was standing by a tree from far away. I didn't realize who it was until it was too late...

Charlotte held the man's hand and started walking into the forest. I ran as quickly as I could to save her life. My long red hair was flowing behind me, but it was only slowing me down. Pretty quickly, I realized he had no face... Oh my goodness... I heard some rumors that this man, Slender Man, killed people. I ran even faster until I tackled him... That was again, my mistake...

My Zalgo, child! He somehow said...

"Get back... Stay away from my family!" I nervously yelled at him while holding up a twig... Like that would do anything...

Child, I won't hurt you...

"But if you hurt her I'll... I'll..." He must have sensed all the fear I've had.

I recommend you don't go any closer, child. He said, almost like he was about to attack...

"Slendy!!!!!!!" Sally yelled as she ran up to him with a bear hug... Now Sally's in danger!

I pulled her away from him and kept her back.

Sally... You've met these people?

"Uh huh! And they're SUPER nice!" She smiled and looked up at me, then over at Charlotte... I was about to say something, until I remembered Ben was still out there!

"Excuse me, Slender Man... I'll be right back...

Quickly I ran back over to the lake and saw a note... It wrote:

Do not worry, child. BEN is in good hands. He will be just as he was before, except he will be living at Slender Mansion... You will see BEN again if he chooses.

Those words rang in my mind. If he choses... He might not want to... I mean, I just let him push me above water while he was literally almost dead... It should've been me! Dang it! Again with the tears! They stung at my eyes and blurred my vision. One fell on the note, while another slowly slid down my right cheek. Once the tears fell, I began to read again.

One more thing... Child, do not freak out... BEN is now a killer...

Sincerely,

SM

I screamed and cried into my hands... Ben? He'd never! And why did the person capitalize Ben fully... all the time... Well it didn't matter this isn't the Ben I knew... GOOD HANDS? I bet this person's a killer as well! I bet Ben isn't even alive! They probably just took his body and dumped it back in the lake! I mean, who does SM think he is! What does SM even mean?! Stupid Mouse! Snakey Mary? What abou- oh... Slender... Man... I see now...

I ran back into the forest, only to see Charlotte and Sally playing patty-cake... Where'd Slenderp go? I like that... Heheh... Slenderp...

I picked up Sally and Charlotte and ran back to Ben's old house and locked the old oak door.

"Why are we here?" asked Charlotte.

"Don't be silly Charlotte... TEA PARTY!!!" yelled Sally...

"Ben... He might be alive..." I squeaked out.

Sally started jumping up and down while cheering. Charlotte and Sally also had a dance party kinda...

It really was a long day... The girls didn't know how, nor did they want to play with cards.

I sat down on the couch and started to drift off... First, I thought about Ben, as usual... Then I thought about Slenderp... heheh... Dang it! I realized I had to go to hell and back... school.
