Catra stared at the ceiling.
This was really happening.
A knock on the door caught her attention.
'Come in.'
To her surprise, it was Lonnie.
'I heard the news. Had to see for myself' She sounded bitter, almost angry.
'Sweet, dumb, Lonnie, you think this could be a lie? You really are as dumb as I originally thought!' She laughed.
Lonnie didn't reply. Instead, she balls her fists and stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind her.
Honestly, Catra felt a bit bad.
She really hadn't meant to be that rude. Oh well, she would figure out how to make up for it later. Probably a promotion or something.
'Catra?'
She looked up to see Scorpia standing in the doorway.
'Hey' Catra replied, for once smiling at the pincered princess.
Scorpia was taken aback. Catra was never that nice.
'Hey? Umm... Anyways! I heard that your the Hordes princess now?' She smiled.
'Yup! You know what? I'm going to raise you up to the Hordes duchess' She gave a wide grin to Scorpia, what gasped and nearly cried.
'Really?!'
'Seriously, yes, I'm upping you to Duchess if you want'
Scorpia then trapped Catra in a tight hug. And to her surprise, the magicat hugged her back.
'What are we happy about?' Entrapta stood happily looking around in the doorway.
But then, something utterly shocking happened.
Catra pulled her in for a group hug.
Entrapta was very confused, bamboozled if you will.
They shared a Super Pal Trio hug.
Unbeknownst to them, Shadow Weaver watched from the shadows. (Get it? "Shadow"? Okay I'll shut up now)
And she was just as against Hordaks idea as Lonnie seemed.
As she lay between her two best friends, Catra thought back on her life up to that point.
Maybe she had been living a bad life, but it wasn't going to stay like that. She was going to change the Horde.
She now had everything she could want. Power. A kingdom. Two amazing best friends.
Everything except Adora.
But she was trying to change, so no longer would she be obsessing over her ex best friend.
And with that, She fell into a deep sleep between Entrapta and Scorpia.
Between the Super Pal Trio.
