__sunrise 7am feeling ill awaking to hear yelling downstairs__

"I swear your majesty i don't know how it happened, 2 villages were wiped out!" I sprinted up in alert i could only hold one thought in my mind 'MY MOTHER what if she never makes it what if she died along with the others, and that man i saw last night still no explanation on that' i could hear myself panicking and my breathing seems to become louder and louder until the door cracks open, Nate comes in silently and mouths "what's wrong?" i calm my breathing since it's him "i heard a guard about the village's 2 of them wiped out" i whispered  he give's me a puzzled look "y/n i never seen another guard here in the last 2 hours." i begin to lower my breathing and my panicking and look up to face him "how far is my village from here?" he looks shocked but smiles "i can take you i will alert max he takes over in a few moments" he leaves a note stuff in the door lock "when max opens the door he'll know it was me, now hurry we only have 3 hours to get to my horse, getting my bag get your knife and let's g-" he gets lost when he looks at the glowing blue knife "y/n let me see your arm" i looks up to him "wait why what's wrong?" he reply's fast "well  you look do you have any cuts on your wrist that's bleeding or is your veins glowing blue?" i answer confused "no i shouldn't i was asleep an-" to my surprise there was a huge cut on my wrist "Nate i was asleep someone cut me" looking more concerned than before he grabbed me going through the window "wait Nate why not through the front door?" he looks up "your wrist is why this is why max told you to only tell us anything, he thinks your related to the late befall of queen and i believe to think you were stolen, by the witch who condemned the late queen, we have to sneak around sadly" he puts his finger to his lips slightly smirking dragging me with him. i go to try to jump down from the roof but he grabs my shoulder "no hold onto me you won't survive the fall the queen cursed the ground " i look confused he sighs taking an pencil from my pocket "hey-" he drops it to the ground as it hits the ground it burns up "so how will you survive it?" he laughs then his face goes from a smile to a 'oh yeah she doesn't know type smirk' "grab onto me i made a deal with the fallen queen a while ago and so did max but he will show you one day she granted each promising child a gift that goes with their heart's intention i can't be harmed and i have speed" my eyes go into disbelief "can you show me? I can't believe just word's with no proof" he smirks ear to ear and grabs me bridal style and jumps to the bottom while speeding through the woods to the horse station. "having fun?" he laughs i can't help but to not giggle and muster out "holy fuck this is awesome" he laughs getting us to the  horse station, he whispers "so you wanna keep holding onto my chest like that or get onto a horse" i blush bright red "yea s-sorry which one's yours?" he smiles and lifts me onto a beautiful brown horse "her names kit" i pet her "my goodness she's beautiful" he laughs so is someone else" he clicks his teeth and i giggle he then hops on the horse with me taking me in the direction of the village but on the way i see a glimpse of a solid black gate but as soon as i look it disappears "you alright doll i felt you shutter from back here, are you cold love?" i shake my head "no it's just i miss my mother" he shakes his head  "alright well we'll be there in 30 minutes be quick okay?"

__time skip to the village__

i shook my head around and turn my head to him "hey let me off right here" he paused and questioned back "what but your house is up the road i don't mind" i nodded but being worried "no it's fine wait in the dark" he shook his head "alright then" i walked up to the back of my house and climbed to mothers window no where to be seen when i didn't notice her i knocked on the door a few times to make sure she was in there no response i bust the window open until someone snatches me inside "child what's the matter wi-" there's gasp i recognize it to "mom! are you okay i had a vision that 2 villages wer- " I got interrupted with her covering my face with her hand "you must leave, they are searching for women or men of your blood line I'm sorry to say im not your mother i know this would be a lot to take in but your original mother trusted me because i was her maid and best friend I'll love you just like your mother and I'm glad you came your mother wanted you to have this on your 16th birthday but i was hoping you would never have to witness the war she went through but this is her bracelet" she takes out a red blade with and black handle and brings to to me without giving me time  to speak back she hurriedly answered back " if your ever  in trouble use this, it won't kill anyone but it will stun them if they try to attack you, now you need to go the leftover people of this village are being hunted you need to leave." in shock and confusion i try to mutter "w-wait what do you mean the people leftover in the village might be attacked and killed if i don't do anything no-" I was interrupted by a knock on the window "y/n we need to leave it's been an hour, we have to get back before they notice you gone!" i turn my head towards nates' voice. "Okay, 1 moment i reach over to hug the woman i perused as a mother, hugging her greatly." Be safe, mom." As i leave, she was still shocked from me still looking to her as a mother, but she raised me my whole life. What could I have done? she then lifted my head up telling me something in my ear "do not trust the queen when you go back i believe she has sent someone here i think we were poisoned i know how to cure it but i fear im not in well enough condition, i want you to find him and your real mother will be beside you as will i but do not ever abuse the power i have taught you over the years" i shake my head and down the window towards Nate, waving goodbye to my mother. Nate tried to embrace me but brushed it off and hopped back onto the horse. he came up behind me while we get ready to go back.  

_time skip to being halfway back to the castle

"y/n you've been quiet the whole ride. Is there something the matter?" i shook my head "uh no just my mother has mentioned someone is hunting the villages" he clicks his tongue "me and max will look into it, in the meanwhile you have to stay out of trouble max will show you how to avoid trouble and also he's going to be dropping off dresses in your room, for future party's or just if you have a little date" he pokes at me laughing, making me giggle to " unfortunately for me i don't do dates never even been to a party before." he sighs "well me and max will take you haha" he laughs but cuts himself off when he see's the castle "jump onto my back im gonna get you up there but when i climb onto his back i saw a tattoo of a broken arrow, i ask what came to mind "what's with the tattoo on your neck." he mumbles "another story for another time love" he gets me up to the window where there's max waiting with note in hand  with a worried expression, relived when my face shows up in his vision  but then turns annoyed when he seen nick "good lord nick" he signs "i got worried you guys were gone over 2 hours" Nate rushed me in and i took my stuff and tossed it aside towards my bed " alright come on Nate we have to go!" they rush out the door to stand guard. I was left there with questions stomping around in my head like * who's my real mother? Is she actually dead, or* the a thought came to me. ~what was that gate I saw, I doubt they'd tell me even if what I saw was real~

I head towards my bed looks at both the knifes max passed to me and the one my mother passed me I smiled sadly to myself *I could become an assassin, or I could go out later tonight before they toss on the electric floors that Nate warned me about.* I had gotten so lost in thought I didn't hear the maid come in with my breakfast I jump up as she touched my shoulder "are you okay ma'am?" I dust myself off "ah yes im sorry, just lost in thought" as I toss the knives in a nearby drawer, so what's for breakfast?
