After emerging from the overturned van unscathed, Lincoln came out holding the strange glowing canister in his hands. He showed it to the turtles and Clyde, and were completely in awe looking at the mysterious substance.
"What do you think this is?", Lincoln asked.
"I don't know, I haven't seen anything like this." Clyde said, suspicious as well.
"You think that's the...?" Leo said.
"Mutagen that turned us all into what we are now", Donnie said, finishing Leo.
"This?" Lincoln said surprised, "This is the stuff that mutated you guys?"
"It has to be", Donnie replied thinking back as it matches the same ooze Master Splinter talked about that mutated him and the turtles years ago.
"Let's drink some!", Mikey shouted in excitement, much to the shock from the others.
"NO!" Leo, Raph, and Don shouted.
"Why would you do that?", Clyde replied.
"Cuz if you mutate a mutant, you get a Super Mutant!"
"Or a pile of goo on the sidewalk", Donnie replied.
"Either way, it's an improvement", Raph snapped back sarcastically.
"Guys, this is huge", Leo said, "Whoever kidnapped Clyde's babysitter is somehow connected to what happened to us fifteen years ago."
"How's that even possible?", Lincoln asked.
"Don't know." Leo said.
"So, what do we do with it?" Mikey asked.
Raph then looked over to the driver of the van who regained consciousness. "Use it to get some answers", the turtle walked up to him grabbing him by his shirt, "Who are you? And what's going on?"
The driver looked up at the turtle, "Name's Snake, and I got nothin' to say to you hideous freaks."
"Well, that's cuz you don't know us yet", Raph then threw him to the ground as Mikey and Donnie both grabbed his arms and Raph took the canister of mutagen from Lincoln, "You see, we were just regular guys. Until... we got hit with a little of this."
Raph then removed the metal top of the canister, causing Snake to become fearful, "W-what'da doing?"
The turtle smirked, "Playing a little game called, 'Mutation Roulette'. Now you could turn out handsome like me, or you might end up disgusting and deformed, like Mikey here."
"Hey!" Mikey said, offended.
"So, you feel lucky?", Raph then began to slightly turn the open canister towards Snake as the mutagen started to droop over the edge. Seeing the glowing pink substance come closer to his face, Snake began to tremble in fear. Clyde even covered his eyes, fearing he might be horrified by his mutation.
Lincoln and Leo are seen watching this, Lincoln looks at Leo with an uneasy feeling that Raph might be taking this too far, "Uh, s-should we do something?"
"OKAY! OKAY!", Snake then broke, making Raph pull back the canister making Lincoln sigh in relief, "They call themselves 'The Kraang'. They've been grabbing scientists from all over the city."
"Well that worked", Leo commented on Raph's interrogation tactics.
"Of course it did", he replied, "Would you wanna look like Mikey?"
"I'm right here", Mikey replied once again, offended.
"What do they want with Scientists?", Leo asked.
