The above song is Daechwita, lead single of Suga, or Yoongi's second mixtape, D-2. The title of the song references traditional Korean military music.

The music video draws inspiration from the 2012 film ,Masquerade, in which a lowly acrobat takes the role of a double for , and eventually takes the throne while the ruler recovers from being poisoned; in the music video, Agust D acts as both the king and his double. This was revealed by Agust D in a behind-the-scenes video to be symbolic; the king represents the "old" Agust D, while his double represents the "new" Agust D.

How much pain do you have to go through to have perfected a smile so beautiful yet so impersonal?

Areum's thoughts were along those line when introduced to the oldest member of Bangtan.

Kim Seokjin was a private person who rarely graced the same place as Areum. That is, she had not seen much of him other than from a distance. The only time she's actually seen him up close was that one time in the library, and she did not even so much as look at him for more than the three seconds it took to register who was in front of her.

The Campus Rumor Mill called him a sphinxlike enigma, and rightfully so. He was very good looking, even from afar. The world is unfair, she thought.

The smile he gave her while introducing himself was beautiful -because of course it was- but felt fake. Artificial.

She decided not to dwell on it too much and instead focused on returning his smile and bow. The one he gave next was definitely more genuine.

Everyone around the table then turned to the mint-haired person. The elusive and savage Min Yoongi, as described by Areum's blog of guilty pleasure. While she knew next to nothing about the oldest of the group, there was a bit more information about Min Yoongi.

Third year, scary, do not cross. She did not know what the man did to earn such a reputation, but his resting bitch face was enough for her to understand the rest of his description. He also looked really cool, sitting comfortably in formal wear. Areum was sure the contradiction to his usual baggy outfits would send his fans at school swooning. He took a sip from his glass, put it down and looked into her eyes (probably her soul, too) as he spoke.

Areum wished he did not remember their encounter in the hallways not too long ago. He probably wouldn't remember; it was normal to make eye-contact with random people.

"My name is Yoongi. I'm currently pursuing Business studies, third year. Nice to meet you." he said, bowing a bit. Yoongi's tone was detached, but intense eyes followed every move of the person he's talking to, Areum, in this case. Adding to the above he gave a small tight-lipped smile that reminded her of the ascii emoji ":]".

She returned his introduction with a "N-nice to meet you too, Yoongi-ssi.", and a smile. It was hasty, and she really should come up with some other reply to their introductions, she thought.

The corners of his lips softened a bit at that.

Min Yoongi knew the best after Taehyung when someone was genuine or not. The shock that passed Hwang Areum's face upon glancing at them first almost cost Yoongi a snicker. Clearly, Jungkook on his side couldn't hold it in and cracked up in silence but covered it up well by taking a sip of his water. He was drinking a lot of water that evening. The maknaes were going to fight for the bathroom later.

The girl sitting in front of him was someone he was sure would run away and was proven wrong. He knew Areum was quick-witted, saw the way she avoided getting in their way a few days ago. Namjoon was whipped. Not romantically, of course, but for the innocence and purity Areum carried with her. Ms. Hwang was a mother-figure. Someone who fixed some major cracks Yoongi's heart carried and never realized the existence of. Most of the other ones were filled with the six absolute buffoons he wouldn't claim being related to otherwise.

Even after gaining a family so chaotic but loving, something was missing for him, for them, until Ms. Hwang came into the picture. She was wise, kind and worried a lot. Mother. She fixed him in places he wasn't even aware of being broken.

A loving hand on his shoulder, or caressing his hair- it felt so nice.

He was shocked- if not unwilling- after Sang Yeob told them about liking, or probably, loving someone from the office. This was before Mr. Kim asked her out.

Yoongi made it a point to visit the office as frequently as possible for his 'training', observing if Ms. Hwang lived up to the praises his father sang of her. Certainly, she did. He'd asked Hoseok to gather as much information about her as possible and verified it himself. Family was something he wasn't willing to take a risk about.

They also gathered intel on Areum once they confirmed it themselves that Ms. Hwang was there for the long run. Heck, it was them that encouraged Sang Yeob to approach Ms. Hwang properly and ask her out, because the pining was getting too much to bear.

Since her frequent visit was to the library, Yoongi suggested Namjoon observe her. What he did not expect was for her to be that cute. But he did agree. She looked tiny sitting beside the tower that was Namjoon. Her hands seemed smaller than Jimin's- a feat he did not know was possible. Adorable bread-cheekies and other shit that made him want to punch the table. Yes, he had a case of cuteness aggression, fuck you kindly.

She was well-mannered and wouldn't poke her nose around their business was something he was sure of by now. She was smart enough to keep her curiosity to herself if it meant staying out of trouble. Yoongi was glad it was not some gold-digger or power-thirsty person instead of Areum or Ms. Hwang- lord knows, there would have been a bullet or two in their heads by now.

If Kim Seokjin was the chaos of a catastrophe, Min Yoongi was the silence before the storm. Someone who didn't speak much but would certainly destroy the enemy with just actions and strategy. Planning. But like the silence before the storm, his temper too was short. This went for most of them, but not all, because exceptions to rage like Namjoon and Jin existed.

He took up business studies to take over the white-collar business as the second oldest of the boys since Seokjin wanted to study medicine, given that a doctor in the family was a need thanks to their family business- the underground one. Besides, it was a field he excelled in, other than music. Mr. Kim gave all of his sons the freedom to choose what they wanted to pursue, but this was what they wanted. Namjoon took up law and Hoseok software, mostly to help Sang Yeob. The maknae line was aware of this and naturally, wanted to follow their footsteps, to help their father and older brothers.

Taking up a selective course did not mean they dropped the things they liked. Seokjin still played tennis and took part in theatre for plays in different roles and Yoongi released music under the pen-name AGUSTD. Hoseok still took dance lessons and would in the future, open up a studio or two, maybe (definitely) ask Jimin to join him. Namjoon had an entire library or two to his name in the mansion, and a greenhouse, too. They had an art studio for the two maknaes.

Doing one thing doesn't mean killing your other interests, after all.
