Bored.
The only correct way to describe Jungkook's current mental state.
He's supposed to be completing an important math assignment that accounted for around 30% of his final grade but was very intently observing the small colorful bird that had perched itself on the tree outside his window. Watching birds was suddenly much more important as compared to Calculus.
His partners in crime bar Hoseok were in their own rooms, Taehyung was like him- trying to finish whatever assignment he had while Jimin- the Class Representative and Perfectionist- was doing whatever he could (like watch birds freely without his books and desk and bookshelf judging him) because he'd completed his assignments and preparation for the next week's quiz two hours ago.
The rest of his Hyungs were either out at the company or had gone to attend some important 'business'. Their guests had overstayed their welcome at their farmhouse and refused to co-operate.
It was time some of the Hyungs paid them a visit before Dad had to do it out of politeness.
Jungkook let out a groan. This was going nowhere. He kept getting distracted and it would be a shame if he did not finish this one paged challenge to his brain in an hour at the most. He mumbled to himself and got back to work.
"Let's get it"
.
It was about fifty minutes later that there was a knock at his door.
Jungkook was done with his assignment and was going through his answers to make sure they were correct. The bird had flown away by the time Jungkook finished and looked up. He pouted about loosing a potential companion for about half-a-minute.
Taehyung did not usually knock at his door, just opened it. The remaining guesses were of Jimin or househelp, who did not dare roam around in the hallway of the seven devils. So he assumed it was Jimin.
"Jungkook-ah~"
"Yah Jungkookie, open the door already?"
Okay so it wasn't just Jimin. It was 'JiminandTaehyung'. The two weren't Jimin and Taehyung. They were JiminandTaehyung. They were always attatched at the hip if at the same place and time. That included Jungkook too if he was there and they just became 'Maknae Line' then. If Hoseok was included, all the others and their father descibed it as was 'Trouble'.
Jungkook kept the free pages in a file before opening the door. "Hey Hyungs." He smiled.
"Hi Jungkookie, are you done with your assignment or anything else?" Taehyung asked. He had a bounce to him visible in both his voice and steps as he made his way inside. They must have plans.
"Do you need help?" The ever angel in disguise asked.
"No thank you, I just finished fighting an uphill battle." Jimin snickered and Taehyung took a look at his desk, muttering "Calculus, eh, that sure is a tall order."
"Okay, warrior. Since you have fought so bravely, would you like a reward?" The second-maknae asked the first.
"Depends on what the reward is, Your Highness." Jungkook replied in the same grandiose as he was asked in. Jimin replied to him, matching their auras."The award, my fellow warrior is a trip to the arcade in Daydream."
"The arcade in Daydream?!" Jungkook broke character in surprise. His doe eyes now resembled a deer in headlights.
A trip to the mall was common for them, rich people and all. But to Daydream was indeed, a daydream.
