Kion woke up before Rani the next morning. She was still wrapped in his arms. Kion gently set her down. He walked off to hunt.
After a minute, Kion found a gazelle. He crouched down, and stalked it, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
Kion's pupils shrank, and he roared, and charged toward the gazelle, claws extended. Kion but hard into the gazelles neck, and killed it. Kion growled and left it. He walked to where Rani was sleeping.
Kion quietly crept up to her. He dug his claws into the ground. Kion stood over her.
Rani quietly groaned and opened her eyes. "Morning Kion," She smiled. Then she noticed his face, "Kion?"
Kion roared and pinned her down. Rani screamed in fear and kicked him off of her. Kion flew back, but landed on his paws.
"Kion! Stop!" Rani begged. Kion slashed his claws at her.

Blood dripped down Rani's face. She cried in pain and fell to the ground.
Kion held the paw he cut her with in the air. He went back to his old self. Kion shook his head. He looked at Rani, a huge cut on her face, blood dripping down. She was screaming and crying on the ground.
Kion looked at his paw, claws extended, and blood all over it. "W-What happened!" Kion asked in confusion. He knew, but he still asked the question.
Kion ran to Rani, "Rani I'm so sorry!" Rani touched her paw to the cut. Blood went onto her paw. She wiped away her tears and slowly stood up.
"It's ok Kion," Rani gently nuzzled him, but Kion pushed away. "Don't touch me! I might hurt you again!" Kion shouted. "But Kion-" Kion cut her off, "Rani, no."
Kion sighed, "We shouldn't be together." "What are you talking about!" Rani cried. "I don't want to hurt you anymore Rani. I-Im breaking up with you," Kion shed a tear.
"No Kion please!" Rani begged. "Go Rani, your not safe here," Kion said. Rani stayed put. "GO!" Kion roared. Rani cried and ran back to the Tree Of Life.
