Kion gently crept up on a zebra. He kept his haunches tight under him to give him a good jump.
Kion got ready, and sprang into the air. The zebra spotted him and started to run. Kion sunk his claws deep into the zebras skin, holding it down. Kion quickly bit into its neck, and killed it.
"Yay! That's my lion," Kion heard Rani cheer. Kion turned around and smiled. Rani ran up and nuzzled him, "I knew you coukd do it!" "All thanks to you," Kion licked her cheek.
"What should we do now!" Rani jumped up in excitement. "Anything you want darling," Kion replied. Rani looked at him, "Are you flirting?" "I can if you want me to," Kion smirked.

"Let's save that for tonight," Rani chuckled. Kion froze, "W-What do you mean t-tonight?" "When we watch the stars," Rani explained. Kion sighed in relief.
Rani giggled and ruffled his mane, "We won't do that 'till you're ready. I promise." Kion smiled and shook his mane back, "Thanks."
"Of course! You're my mate. I have to think about your feelings, as well as mine," Rani replied.
Kion smiled. "So Rani? Am I healed now. Like, am I fixed? Will I hurt anybody?"
"You aren't 100% healed, but you are making really great progress," Rani explained. Kion tucked his ears down in sadness. "Hey cheer up. You still have me."
Kion looked at her, "Thanks Rani." Rani nuzzled him.
