"Say the words, Yibo. You know you want to."  Yibo shot another glare toward Haoxuan hoping the man would combust into a ball of flames any second now. His enforcer hadn't stopped goading Yibo ever since they got within a mile of the movie theater. The man had continued to chew Yibo's ear off the entire ride to the theatre. Telling Yibo how good it would've been to stay in Lan territory instead of the crowded theatre.  The Lan Alpha had vowed to himself he wouldn't be a pain in his mate's ass and ask him to leave early. He wanted Zhan to enjoy the day as he had planned but Haoxuan was set on breaking Yibo's resolve. The bastard was saying all the right things which had Yibo's hands itching with the need to strangle him. To Yibo's horror, his mate had done nothing but laugh the entire time. Yibo was sure his firecracker was enjoying seeing him struggle. But, Yibo had held strong. He had endured standing in line to buy the snacks with Xuan breathing down his neck and had not snarled when Rong pointed out the girls checking Zhan out. He was set on ignoring the two men and he had succeeded but there had been a point where he had wavered. Yibo had taken a single step into the hall and heard someone say, "I heard someone fainted during one of the scenes." Eyes widened, Yibo had turned to Zhan and his mate had given him the look that meant he was guilty as fuck.

"It's not that scary."  "You told me this was a sci-fi movie." "You are not afraid of horror movies, are you? Because we can leave now if you are scared." Licking his front teeth, Yibo had bit his tongue before confessing that he was afraid. He could handle gore and blood but he didn't do well with jump scares. They freaked him out and Yibo didn't have the face to admit it! Zhan knew it but was still playing the fool, stifling a smile. Wang Yibo was ready to leave right that second. That damn second. If not for another taunt from Haoxuan and Zhan's obvious amusement, Yibo would've dragged his firecracker out of the god-awful place. The place was packed. Packed. Zhan had warned Yibo that the new movie was part of a popular franchise but Yibo had thought Zhan was just tormenting him. He should have listened. Should've let go of his stupid pride and just carried Zhan out on his shoulder! He considered the thought for a moment but stopped when he felt Zhan's excitement through their bond. "Will you finally say the magic words?", came Jiyang's voice and Yibo's scowl had the Omega hiding behind Haoxuan.

"Say it, baby. Say you want to go home."  A growl left Yibo's lips instead of the words and Zhan laughed as he watched Yibo walk away to take his seat. "He looks like he is going for battle", commented Jiyang and Zhan shook his head. His mate was too stubborn for his own good. "The door is here if you change your mind." Yibo's wolf growled within him telling Yibo to spank his mate's ass but Yibo didn't do anything, sitting still in his seat. "You can at least pretend to enjoy this", remarked Yubin from his left and the protector was glad that A-Qing was sitting between him and Yibo. The sinister look Yibo shot him had Yubin gulping nervously. "You okay?", Zhan asked from beside him and Yibo would've answered if not for the mock concern he saw on Zhan's face. So he settled for a grunt. "You are liking this too much", he grumbled and Zhan shoved popcorn in his mouth, shrugging. "Seeing you squirm is not something that happens regularly. I am going to enjoy it while it lasts."  "You will pay for this, firecracker." Zhan hissed when Yibo leaned in and bit his neck. "Behave", the man warned and Yibo turned his eyes back to the screen, mentally preparing himself. "I don't understand why you enjoy this. If you wanted to watch a movie, I could've arranged something on the territory. We would have had privacy and " "Don't you dare complain, Wang Yibo. You asked for this. And, for the record, if I get as much as a scratch on me while you shit your pants out of fear, know that I will return them tenfold. Now, be a man and shut up."

"Honestly, I thought he would break sooner", Haoxuan snickered making Yibo growl out loud. The only reason Yibo didn't punch the man across the face was that the Lan Alpha still had a headache from all the laughter, screams, and loud and totally unnecessary hoots in the hall. "I thought he would burst a nerve when the guy in the row behind us screamed", added Rong and Jiyang rolled his eyes. "He was screaming throughout the movie. I kept feeling sorry for my eardrums." Zhan laughed at his friend's reaction before shaking his head in exasperation. "I would've reacted to him if not for someone hiding behind my shoulder the entire time. For a minute there, I thought he would crawl into my skin. Seriously, Yibo. How old are you?"  "That woman's face was falling off! You expect me to watch that shit without any reaction?" "No. I expect you to wince or flinch like the rest of us instead of crawling into my lap. The woman beside me kept laughing at you." "I don't care!"
