    Once I get home I shower, change my clothes, take off my makeup, etc.  I pulled the cheer tryout sheet out of my backpack and looked at it for a second. "should i really do this?" I think. 
    I scan the barcode on the paper and it takes me to a website to fill out a form. I fill it out and go on with my day. 
    As I was scrolling on tiktok I got a notification on instagram.

    "Omg its kai" i thought.

    *incoming call*

    "YOUR JOINING THE CHEER TEAM?!" Kai yelled through the phone.
    "Yeah! I think it'll be fun!"
    "Woah...That means i'll be able to see you alot more!" Kai said with excitement.
    "what do you mean? why?"
    "cuz im on the basketball ball team!"
    "omg really? thats so cool"
    "yeah me and my friend are some of the best athletes at the school" Kai bragged. "You like hoopers?"
    "Uhm, Yeah most of them are really cute." I felt so shy right there. I wonder why he would even ask a question like that.
    We continued talking until we noticed it was almost midnight. 
    "OMG! Kai look at the timeee!!!" 
    "Oh damn, I didn't even realize!" He said. "Can you maybe give me your phone number so I can text you normally?"
    "Yeah of course. (insert number)" I blushed so hard at his comment tbh!!
     He texts me "Hey" to make sure i got his message. 
    "Well, Goodnight N/n. Sweet Dreams" His voice was so soft. He literally sounded like an angel. I could listen to him talk all night...
    "N/n...n/nnnnn....Y/N!!!"
    "OH!" I yelled as i snapped back to reality.  "my bad. I was spaced out for a sec." That was so embarrassing🤦🏽‍♀️ "But goodnight!!"
    "Okay byee!!" Kai said as he hung up.
    I really can't believe i got to have such a long call with Kai. AND THE FACT THAT HE PLAYS BASKETBALL?!?! 
    I hope I make the cheer team. I really wanna be able to see him play! 
    I plug up my phone and turn off my light. 
    I can't wait to see him tommorow :)
