The next morning i woke up so happy! I did my morning routine and went downstairs to eat.

"Whatchu so happy about?" My mom asked.

"Ma, I cant just be happy for once?" i say sarcastically.

"Calm down. Get ready to go its already 7:35." she says then rolls her eyes.

"Ok bye mom. Have a good day!" I smile and leave.

As i walk out the door i pull out my phone and turn on love talk by WayV(😩). I walk to the bus stop and wait for the bus to come. When the bus gets here I get in the seat i sat in last time and continued listening to music.

We pull up to the second stop and everyone walks on the bus. Kai sits next to me, just as promised.

"Hey N/n!" He says cheerfully.

"H-hey kai." i say anxiously.

"How did you sleep?" he asks politely

"i slept well. Thanks for asking<3"

We get to school and he walk with me off the bus. As we're walking i see him start fidgeting with his hands and blushing. I was concerned tbh. "Is he ok?" i thought to myself.

"hey, is everything alright?" I ask.

"Y-yeah im ok." he stutters "I just wanted to ask you a question."

"Uhm yeah go for it!" I say.

"do you maybe wanna go-!" he stops talking as the fish girl jumps on him and hugs him.

She throws a rude face at me and smiles at kai. I look in disgust as she touches all over him. He looked so uncomfortable.

"hey bestfrannn" Fish girl yells.

"hey brianna" he frowns.

Brianna. Hm. So thats her name.

"why didn't you answer my calls last nighttt!!!" she whines.

WHAT!? He declined her calls just for me??

"sorry, i was studying." he lied.

"ughhh your such a nerdddd" she says as she takes a hit of her vape.

He cringes as he watches her.

"well we gotta go byeee!!" kai says. He grabs my waist and walks away. WHAT.
