Chapter 3

Eventually the lunch bell rang and Kendra walked me to lunch. She introduced me to some of her friends and her boyfriend.

"So, y/n....These are my friends Layla, Aubrey, Jakailah."

I wave and say hey to all of them.

The tall guy from the bus walked over to to Kendra and kissed her on the cheek.

"Hey bae." The tall guy says.

"Heyyy" Kendra yelled. "You just in time, I wanted to introduce you to my new friend!" She looks over to me

I smile and he smiles in return.

"Y/n, This is my boyfriend Soobin!" Kendra continues. "He's one of the best athletes at this school."

Soobin's face was almost red as a tomato after she said that.

They called our area to go get lunch and I went in line by myself.

(irl im not a huge fan of social interaction soooo yeah😭"

I grabbed some pizza and sat at an empty table. I didn't end up eating the pizza because I spotted some green stuff on it😦.

As i was scrolling on (insert fav app) Kai ran to my table and plopped down on the seat. I was stunned because bro literally shook the whole table.

He laughed and put his lunch on the table.

"I never got to ask for your instagram." Kai says. "Uhm, maybe can you give it to me..?" He was blushing.HARD.

He opens instagram and gives me his phone. I put in my instagram and give him his phone back. He followed me back and put his phone down.

We were in a comfortable silence until fishy girl from the bus stop came over yelling. She started flirting with Kai and you could definitely tell he was uncomfortable.

"Heyyy Kaiiii!" Fish girl basically yelled.

"H-hey..." Kai stuttered.

She looks over to me with a rude look and looks back at Kai. She walks closer and pushes us to the side so she can be in the middle of us.

"uh maybe i'll just move..." i mutter.

Kai was too occupied with Miss. Fish that he wasn't able to hear me.

The bell rang and after I asked a teacher where to go I walked to my next class.

For the rest of the school day I just couldn't stop thinking about him. Whenever I would try to set my mind on something else it was always Kai. Kai. Kai. Kai.

The bell finally rang to go home. I said bye to my teacher and left. As I was walking in the hall there was a girl passing out papers. Out of curiosity I grabbed one.

"Cheer Tryouts! November 12-16th"

I think to myself "Maybe I should try it out"
