[ 3 days later ]
luna and sage walked through the doors of the bar and because it was a saturday night, it was pretty packed.
they looked around a bit before spotting their friend group and walking towards them.
elizabeth was the first to notice them.
"hiii, you guys made it!!" she said walking up to give them a hug.
you could tell that she was already tipsy.
sage laughs. "yeah we did. hey guys." she says to the rest of the group
"hey" everyone responds
while everyone was talking amongst eachother, sage realized that scarlett was nowhere to be found.
"where's scar?" she asked the group
"ouuu, looking for your girlfriend i see." robert says while wiggling his eyebrows.
"shut up robert" chris says while hitting his arm. "she said she'll be running late."
sage just nods her head.
after a few minutes of interacting with the group scarlett shows up.
"sorry i'm late. i had a last minute outfit check." she says while sitting down across from sage.
"you're fine." luna says, waving a dismissive hand.
"hey sage" scarlett says with a smile
"hi"
"what have you been up to?"
"nothing much. just settling into my apartment before we have to start filming." sage says while shrugging her shoulders.
"have you got the chance to explore LA a little? if not i'm down to show you around."
"why do you always get to do stuff with her!?" elizabeth asks with a pout
'yeah she's definitely drunk' sage thought.
"how about you come with us?" she offered
"no. you go out and have fun with your new little girlfriend." she says while standing up. "who's up for a dance?"
"i'm down." robert offered
he got up and walked to the dance floor with lizzie leaving only scar, sage, chris, and luna at the table.
"okayy. the tension at this table is so thick i can cut it with a knife. i'm going to the bar, let's go chris."
"but i don't need another drink." chris says confusingly
"NOW!" luna hisses out.
"okay" chris says as he gets up.
they walk to the bar, leaving only scarlett and sage together.
suddenly sage felt like she needed 10 more drinks.
"you don't have to be nervous around me sage" scarlett said in her smooth voice
"pfft. what makes you think i'm nervous?" sage asks, sitting down her drink
"well for starters you're basically gulping down your drink and you refuse to look at me."
sage let's out a slight laugh. "sorry. it's just.. i don't really know what to talk about."
"well don't talk, dance." scarlett says standing up and holding her hand out for sage.
"ohh noo." sage shakes her head. "this girl may be good at a lot of things but dancing definitely isn't one of them."
"oh come on, it's not that hard. you just gotta feel the beat."
