it is now 2 months later and everything has been going really well for sage. relationship and filming wise. currently the cast of their new movie is back stage getting ready for an interview with jimmy fallon.
normally sage isn't nervous for interviews, i mean she basically grew up on camera, but today was a very special interview. today she and scarlett planned to announce their relationship to the world.
"you ready for this?"
"as ready as i'll ever be." sage says, fidgeting with her hands.
"hey look at me." scarlett says while taking sage's hands. "everything is going to be fine ok? we're gonna tell everyone and yeah they'll have their opinions but guess what. their opinion doesn't matter because we're happy. and as long as we're happy together none of the rest matters." scarlett finishes with a nod.
sage takes a deep breath. "yeah you're right"
"i always am." scarlett says smugly.

a few minutes later jimmy called each one of them onto the stage individually starting with robert, then chris, then was lizzie, then luna, then sage, and lastly scarlett, who was sat closer to jimmy's desk.
"wow. it's so nice to have you all here with us today. how are you guys!?"
they all answer back with 'good' and 'great'
"so how long have you guys been filming this movie so far?" jimmy asked
"2, almost 3, months." scarlett replies.
"and how's it going?"
"it's going really well. we're actually ahead of our filming time period. we were expected to be finished filming in about 5 more months?" she questions looking at the cast and they all nod their heads. "but at the paste we're going it may actually take about 3 months to get this thing finished."
"and how excited are you guys for this movie to drop?" jimmy asks, folding his hands together
"does anyone else want to answer?" scarlett asks looking to her co-stars.
the crowd chuckles and then chris speaks up.
"i think i can speak for all of us when i say that we're all really excited for this movie. i personally think that this may be my favorite marvel movie that i've filmed so far." he says and his co-stars nod.
"and what about you sage? i know that this is your first marvel film ever. how has filming been for you?" jimmy asked
"it's honestly been pretty amazing. since this is my very first action film i decided to not do my own stunts yet in case i hurt myself. i mean, i don't want to scare myself from doing my own stunts in the future so i decided to wait until i'm used to the whole ordeal, ya know." sage finishes with a nod.
"and what about fitting in?"
"as i said before, this cast is basically my family now. i don't think i've ever clicked with a cast as much as i clicked with them." she says, smiling at her cast.
"especially scarlett." luna says, smirking. "ever since sage has arrived here in LA, scar has hogged her. she's literally my sister and i haven't even had a chance to sit down and talk with her." she finished and the crowd laughed.
"that is so not true!" scarlett denies.
"it is too! she's my best friend and i've only got to meet up with her ONCE." elizabeth speaks up.
jimmy laughs. "i see you have everyone fighting over you sage."
sage chuckles.
"so how did this new found friendship between you and scarlett form?"
"well we had a cast brunch, so i can get to know the cast, and when we finished eating she asked me to hangout one day. i agreed and the rest is history." she smiled.
"so the rumors about you guys dating.."
with this, the crowd starts to get chatty and sage lets her face fall into her hands for a split second.
"i mean, they've been going on for almost 3 months now. is it affecting your friendship in any way?"
"well it's nice that you brought this up because we actually wanted to address this situation today." sage says looking at scar. "it doesn't affect us at all because we're really dating."
the crowd then burst into cheers.
"wait really!?" jimmy asks excitedly.
scarlett and sage just nod their heads.
"oh my god, what an amazing surprise! how long has this been going on?"
"almost 2 months. we wanted to enjoy our time together before we came out with the news."
"well folks you heard it here. scarlett johansson and sage carpenter are official. we'll be right back with a fun game after this quick message from our sponsor."
