Rain x Scared Male Reader

⚠️Tw: Panic attack ⚠️

You and Rain are together since a decade and he knew very well about your past and about your panic attacks.
You had a horrible past, mostly because of your parents, but also because you were bullied in school.

So the result of this is your social anxiety.
You can't go to a place where a lot of people are and you don't like it when strangers are close to you.
Rain knew about all of this and he always helped you when you remembered something bad and got a panic attack, which happened regularly.

Today you and Rain laid on the couch in the common room and watched a movie with the other ghouls.
You were half way in the movie when suddenly a scene came where the father slapped his son across the face.

You instantly remembered when your father slapped you, and told you what a mistake you where.
Your body began to shake a little bit and tears welled in your eyes, Rain noticed this.
"Are you okay, Angel?" he asked quietly.
"I need to use the bathroom, I'll be right back" you said before you quickly stood up and walked out of the room.

You went to your and Rains shared room.
You closed the door from the bathroom before breaking down, sobbing and shaking.
You struggled to breathe between your sobs and you couldn't stop shaking.

10 minutes went by and Rain became curious and went looking for you.
He walked to your shared room and heared sobs coming out of the bathroom.
He knocked at the door before opening it,
He slowly walked into the bathroom and saw his lover crying and shaking on the floor.

He instantly sat in front of his boyfriend and grabbed his hands to let him know he was there.
"Baby look at me" Rain said softly and you looked up to him with puffy eyes.
"calm down baby, take a deep breath. I'll help you" he said.
You did as he told and took a deep breath.

After a couple of minutes you calmed down and stopped shaking.
"Are you okay now, baby?" he asked softly and you nodded, "Yeah I'm okay. But I'm so sorry for being so scared and for having these panic attacks" you said quietly.
Rain cupped your face and kissed you softly.

"you don't need to be sorry, you had a horrible past so it's understandable that you're scared.
But you are so strong and you have people here who love you, don't forget that.
And I will always be there for you, I love you"
He said before giving you a kiss on your forehead,
"thank you. I love you too" you said, smiling.

"want to go back or do you wanna lay in bed?"
Rain asked.
"can we lay in bed? I don't feel like going back right now" you mumbled.
"of course, come on" he said.

You two walked over to your bed and cuddled up against each other.
You laid your head on Rain's chest and almost instantly falling asleep.
