a few days had passed and jade and steve haven't really talked. not even about the other day...or that morning. she wanted to but he was acting different as if it just didn't happen.
"Still nothing" nat asked
"no he is acting as if nothing has happened and I mean I thought it would be talked about you know since he called me beautiful and so pretty and you know"
"I know you told me the story...maybe just go talk to him about it maybe something is bothering him and you don't know until you guys have a conversation."
yeah i will. everyone was all in the kitchen nat and jade and wanda were making dinner for everyone tonight nat was filling wanda in on what was happening for jade. Steve was watching the game with bucky, sam, and peter. Sam was explaining to peter the rules of football. she sat down next to him hoping for a 'hi' but no he was pretty silent. she turned to nat and wanda and they kinda gave her a face to say something as wanda gestured her hands forward to turn around and talk.
"hey" she said
"hey jade"
"so how are you doing" she moved closer to him reaching out for his hand until he moved it.
"I'm fine...you though?"
without answering his question she snapped and turned to face him
"steve what the fuck" they whispered this whole conversation. he faced her after she yelled at him he didn't know what to say
"nothing?...you have nothing what is going on a few days ago you woke me up kissing me all over telling me how beautiful I am asking if you fucked me good and now you aren't talking to me so what is this pussy love for and why can't you talk to me?"
"jade I think you are great and I had a lot of fun but I think I made a mistake because I like you I do but I don't want to rush into anything and I don't want to hurt you! I'm not good with stuff like this and I don't know if it will be good for us if we live together and we want this stuff I just don't know"
"Okay...was that so hard?" she forced herself holding back tears. she got up and had walked towards the elevator.
"jade come on!?"
she didn't turn back. she heard footsteps behind her but didn't care if it was steve, nat, or wanda. the elevator shut and she went up to her floor. she started sobbing and sliding down the elevator sitting on the floor. the doors opened and she just sat there she couldn't get herself to get up or to close the door she just stayed there.
