(MIRIO'S POV STILL I KNOW I'LL GET TO Y/N EVENTUALLY)

"Awesome let's start" Tony said face lit up with happiness "Follow me". Tony and me went towards a large glass chamber which was empty "What's this?" I asked looking into the chamber. "A distraction" Tony said shuffling through his drawer "A wh-" I said but then got cut off by Tony spraying bug killer in my face "OW *cough cough* TONY WHY *cough cough*?" I said coughing up a storm. "How do you feel?" he asked putting the can down, "*cough cough*LIKE I HAD A HOT PAN ON MY *cough* FACE! *cough*" I yelled fanning the fumes away and gasping for air "And *cough* next time *cough cough* give a warning!". Eventually i got it together and stopped coughing but my face still burned like crazy, Tony handed me a wet towel and i rubbed my face which soothed the burning but it still hurt. 

"Okay now you can go in the glass chamber" Tony said flipping a switch letting the doors open, I entered an stood still as Tony flipped more switched and spoke into a microphone "Okay so i'm going to test your reflxes, it you get hit it'll sting a little bit but you should be fine. There's your warning now let's begin". I stood there and waited but noting happened "Uh Tony you sure this thing working?" I asked, "Give it a minute" Tony said again into the mic. I tapped my foot and waited "Are you s-" again i was cut off by a paintball hitting me in the back "Hey wait let me take my clothes o-" and another one and another one. Eventually i realised where they were coming from and pre-paired myself. A green one came flying for my face but i dodged it, it was as if time slowed itself down but i was still in motion. Another one came this time pink for my chest but i dodged. Other came fast from every angle but since it seemed i was the only thing in motion i dodged them, slowly but surely the pace picked up. I dodged all of them once i got in the groove "Alright stop" Tony said over the speaker "You should have let me take my shirt off, this is my nice one!" I said looking down at the big colourful stains on the front and back "It's alright kid they won't stain" Tony said "i've used them before on almost everything and they come out pretty easy". I frowned but then sighed "Okay can you l-" *SMACK* orange paintball right to the forehead. I bit my finger trying to contain my anger and prevent me from saying bad things. Tony laughed over the mic "Lesson one; never let your guard down" he laughed, i looked at him through the glass "It is my  FIRST DAY! i got my powers THIS MORNING!" I exclaimed in pain and anger. Tony laughed while flipping a switch causing the doors to open again "Oh you took that like a champ" he said still chuckling to himself and mocking the motion of the paint ball hitting me with his fingers as i left the glass chamber. "Just know i do that with everybody" he added while he finished laughing, he handed me another towel and i rubbed off the paint from my face. i looked up from the towel and realised the time "Crap! im going to be late!" I exclaimed grabbing my things, "Late to what?" Tony asked. "Well i gotta pick up something to eat and meet up with my roomate Y/n". Tony raised one of his eyebrows "Are they important to you?" he asked, i nodded "More than anything. We're always there for each other and trying to make the other laugh" I replied running to the elevator but then turned back to Tony "Can you drive me? i live kinda far away". Tony smiled "Of course kid, and while we're out we can stop to get something to eat for you and Y/n. And besides, I owe you one for that last surprise".

(SECOND PERSON Y/N POV)

You get home from your long hours of sweeping and cleaning at the rental community floor in a building downtown, you open the door to the apartment yor share with Mirio and flop down on your loft bed. You let out a sigh and turned on your phone, not a single message from Mirio. you decide to message him 'Hey where are u? Also can u pick up dinner like you said? Doesn't rlly matter what u get just something nourishing cause I'm starving' you type and send to him. You put your phone down and stare at the ceiling wondering where Mirio is and what's on his mind, he was acting strange for almost the entire day. Add on the fact he was sticking to things, you continue to lie there but then hear the door click then open "Y/n?" Mirio asked from the doorway. You sat up and came down from the loft bed "Hey mirio, your home later than usual" you say. Mirio freezes while putting things on his desk "Oh just lost track of time" he said "But i got F/F (your fav food)!" You light up "Really?". Mirio nods taking the items out of the plastic bag "I'll get this ready then we can dig in!" he says

'Thanks Mirio, you're awesome' you think to yourself smiling.....
