I came out of the cubicle, facing Mrs. Anemone. Hiding the paper and pen from her.

"What happened?" She asked.

"Stage fright," I lied. It's just that I never sang before in front of so many people. And by many people, I mean 25 students.

"Come on, let's go back to class." Mrs. Anemone said, going out of the bathroom.

"You okay?" Lance asked.

"Shut up. I'm fine." I said.

"Fine." Then he gave me the stink eye.

Soon, Music was done, so I trudged off to Chemistry, leaving Lance behind. I felt shy, so I ran faster.

"Viv! Wait for me!" Lance caught up.

"Like hell I would." I ran faster.

I got to Chemistry and sat beside Agatha, the girl from English.

"Hi." Agatha said,

"Um, hi." I wasn't used to people, okay?

"Name's Agatha."

"Yeah I know, Vivienne." I drank my juice, I was thirsty from all that singing. Gah, remembering that moment makes me cringe.

"Sooo, Viv, you like Lance?" She asked.
I spit out my juice, accidentally.

"No way!" I said.

"Cool. I like him, could you help me get closer to him?" I felt something weird, like deep in my stomach, it said NOOOOOO!

"Umm, sure, I'll help you."

Our teacher came in and was talking about stuff.

"Vivienne and Luiz," So she was telling off partners.

"Agatha and Lance," Agatha gave me a thumbs up.

And it goes on, so I got Luis. I took one look at his face and I remembered that he was the jock who tripped me.

"Sup, Freak." He said.

"Sup, jerk." I retorted.

"I'm not doing anything, so you better do it for me."

"You're not the boss of me so shut up and listen."

"What the--"

"Luiz! Stop talking and start working!" Our teacher roared.

"Yes ma'am," He gave up.

"You're gonna pay for this, nerd."

"Yeah, like, OMG Luiz is gonna throw his diapers on me," I mocked him.

"Shut up." He said.

The day dragged on and I went to bed, and fell asleep.
