Vivienne's POV

"Bye John!" I waved to John as I walked away from the bus.

"Bye, kid!"

I walk in my house and fixed my bag for tomorrow. Tomorrow's the day of our ballet recital. I want it to end already, I'm excited for Swan Lake already.
Everyone in our school is coming to see me dance, you see, my ballet school has a partnership with my school.

I sigh as I finished shoving stuff in my red bag for tomorrow. I don't know why I am so depressed, usually I would just shrug it off and play minecraft.

So I just got my school bag, and started fixing it, I like to be organized. I shoved out random things out of my bag, phone, notebooks, pencilcase, pad paper, until I felt something crumpled in my hand. I unfolded it and remembered that it was the piece of paper I scribbled on while I was hiding in the cubicle. It read:
------------------------------------
Do I like him? No, I can't.
------------------------------------
I don't remember writing this. I can't do this, no, for Agatha.

I ripped it into shreds and threw it across my room out of frustration.

I buried my face in my pillow and tried to sleep, but Lance and Agatha's face kept popping into my head.

So I sat up, and started doing my splits, I needed to lose a little weight, I'm currently 83 pounds, I need to be 73 pounds by next month, so I better start my exercises.

Then my phone suddenly beeped, I went to see who messaged me.
-----------------------------------------
"Are you okay? Please reply ;)"

~Lance
-----------------------------------------

And I didn't reply. I can't do this anymore.

My alarm clock rang, and I turned it off, it's the day.

I took a bath, did my makeup, ate a little, then me, my mom, and my dad went to the venue of the recital.

One more dance, and it's my turn. Rose took her place on the stage, and danced gracefully, 3 more pirouettes, one more grand jete, just a little more and it's my turn.

I looked down at the audience, everyone was there.

Then I heard a loud crash and some gasps, the audience was looking at Rose, she collapsed, but she managed to strike her pose, everyone still clapped though, but Miss Lyla gave her a disapproving look and took down some notes.

She ran to the backstage, still graceful, and disappeared behind the curtains.

I took my place at the left side of the stage, hands trembling, lips curled into a smile, tutu peacefully hanging by my waist, and here I was, dancing the routine of The Lilac Fairy, getting lost in the music, someone caught my eye. He was standing on the chairs and cheering for me, and everyone was giving him weird looks. But I continued my dance, because I still couldn't see the man.

The hard part came, the chané around the stage. The music was slow, but the steps were fast. I kept spinning, spotting on one object, and another, and another, until I finished 16 of it, did an arabesque, and curtsied. It was a breathtaking moment, as I saw I got a standing ovation.

A man was whooping in the front seat, and I saw it was the same man from earlier, Lance.

But there was one person not standing, and it was Agatha, giving me a hard, ice-cold glare. I don't see what's the matter, but she continued glaring until I disappeared backstage.
