"Ahhhhh," sighed the old Trion king, he was getting ready for bed and suddenly he heard a knock at his door.

"Come in," he said sharply.

"Your majesty? will you need anything else before bed?" Said the short, thin, brown-haired man nervously.

"No, but thank you, Gabriel," said the king politely.

Gabriel left the room quietly.
Before getting in the bed the king wrapped his dark red robe with golden initials written on his right pocket.
The initials read "V.T." for Vislor Turlough.

The king jumped into bed, pulling the cover over himself slowly, he was fascinated by the roof over his bed.
He slowly drifted off to sleep.
About an hour or two passed but it felt like decades.

He woke up alarmed, he wasn't in his room on Trion, he was in a white-surrounded room.
He sat up from where he was lying, it was a white double sofa, not so white that you couldn't see it but white enough to think it was snow.
Opposite him was a single sofa chair, empty.
He blinked.

"Hello," said a mysterious voice.

Turlough couldn't make out a figure as his eyes were sore from looking at the bright lights at the top of the room.

"Who...who are you?" He said.

He didn't recognise the voice but it sounded like a girl, a young girl, who was about 14-15 years old.

"Where am I?" He said he sounded offended.
But before she could answer, he shouts "AM I DEAD?!"

She starts laughing hysterically.
"No, this is a redemption," she said calmly.

"A WHAT?!" He screamed still panicking and looking around him.

"Ever seen A Christmas Carol?" She said smirking. But she was serious.

"Yes, an old man gets visited by ghosts because he hates Christmas and they change his mind, so what? I don't hate Christmas, it's just that my planet doesn't celebrate it," He said while fidgeting with his hands.

"No, it's not about Christmas. This is about YOU and YOUR life," she said.

"But why do I need redeeming, I fought in a war, I rescued my friends and got revenge on those who killed innocent people," said Turlough getting louder as he said it.

"Revenge is the last thing that would get you redeemed, it is not needed!" She said almost shouting.

"Until it is necessary!" He shouted back this time.

"NEVER!" She screamed.
