"I'm tired," tears started stacking up my eyes ready for escape. "Why? Why must I be strong at all times? Why am I not allowed to rest just for once," I hear myself speak through my breaking voice and then it hits me, "No, I didn't say anything." I blink away those foolish tears and turn to face him, "You didn't hear anything."

He was looking at me like he was seeing me for the first time.

Before I know it, he has me wrapped up in his arms.

Oh, so comfortable. Will it be alright for me to not see anything anymore? Will it be okay for me to cease to exist now? I think to myself and feel my legs giving up and I'm going down. His firm grip around me doesn't loosen a bit and he is going down too, along with me.

No. I didn't feel my knees touch the ground, they are in the air. And, oh, so good, so warm. I feel my consciousness fading away.
