"ALRIGHT I'M COMING, KEEP YOUR SHIRTS ON!!!" One thing Y/n had always hated about her grandfather's house was that it was covered in creepy taxidermy, it always reminded her of a mix of Texas Chainsaw Massacre with Friday the Thirteenth. "There's my favorite granddaughter!", there's that cheerful old man, right on cue, sometimes it confused Y/n as to how they were related in the first place. "Grandpa, I'm your only granddaughter.", the girl said while rolling her eyes, "All the more reason for you to be my favorite!", "Whatever you say.", "Well, do you remember the rules from the last time you were here?", "Yeah, 1. Do not touch the second shelf of the refrigerator, that's where you keep your junk food, and 2. Do not go into your weird taxidermy room.", "That's right! Now excuse me, but I need to cut our chat short, do believe that I ought to give your brothers a bit of a refresher on the rules here." the old man hobbled away, just as he left Y/n heard Sam and Micheal came bounding down the steps and she walked up to her new room to unpack and try to get settled in. ... "This room's a mess," Y/n thought as she looked around at not only the state of the room but the boxes full of her possessions piled everywhere in a chaotic manner, "Welp, better start to unpack."
*later that day*
[Finally, all I need to do is unpack and organize my cassettes then I can go to bed] Just then her mother walked in, "Hey Y/n, sweetie I'm going down to the boardwalk to look for a job if you want to come with. Sam and Micheal are going to.", "Sure, I'll go, just give me a minute to get changed first.", "Okay honey, just come downstairs whenever you're ready." [Alright then I guess I can organize my tapes later] With that thought she walked over to her dresser. [New town, if anybody looks at me, god forbid, I should be wearing something decent, I'll go with some old beat-up jeans and the first band tee shirt I grab, it's not like anyone will take an interest in me anyway.] The only reason she decided to go with her mother was that she wanted to help her find a job. (but she knew that she would end up stuck with Micheal and Sam anyway) Her little brother came bounding up to her when he said, "Me and Micheal are going to a concert we heard about if you wanted to come with.",
"As tempting as an evening of music that I'll hate combined with crowds of people sounds I'll pass." the girl said with a small smile, "Are you helping Mom with job hunting? You don't have to you know.", "I know that I just need to tell her something anyway.", "What do you need to tell her that you can't tell Micheal or me huh?", "Sammy it's just something that you or Mikey wouldn't get, okay? Just drop it.", this however only piqued the kids' curiosity, "What wouldn't I understand, c'mon tell me.", he insisted, "Fine, I'll tell you, just promise me that you won't tell anyone about it okay?", "I won't tell anyone, sure.", the girl sighed, slightly jittery, "As you know I've been having weird dreams lately, but I said I could never remember anything about them? Well, I lied, I do remember these strange voices and a lot of blood and screaming, you were there too and so was Micheal.", "Blood, screaming, weird voices, I think you've been having nightmares.", "No shit Sammy, listen what's weird about these voices is that whenever I try to focus on them in my dreams I can never see their faces.", Sam looked confused at his older sister," What do you mean by that? Did they not have faces or something?", "No they had faces, I know that, but the dreams all end similarly, with the voices saying my name over and over then they laugh and they sound like they're right behind me but when I turn around to see who they are or what they look like there's nothing there and then I wake up.", "When are you planning to tell Mike this? I mean he should know", "Mike would just brush it off or call me crazy, you know that. What are we still doing here let's get going!", "What do you mean we? Are you going to the concert?", Sam asked shocked, "Yeah, I am, you gotta problem with it?", the older of the two snapped, "No, not at all"
