Two Worlds Collide

Chapter 2: Hospital times

"I'm sorry, did I surprise you? I don't tend to shock people because I'm not that stealthy." The man says. "Oh, my name is Johnathan but you can call me John for short. And over there is Parker and Bodie."

"Oh yeah, great. Do you mind taking me to a bone doctor?" Katie says to John.

"I would, like I really would. I just don't know where the hospital is. So, can you tell me how to get to the hospital?" John asks Katie.

Katie points down the hall and says, "Go down that cave, take a left, skip the next two rights. The two rights lead into mice dens."

"Wait, those rights lead into mice dens as in the tiny mice that are one inch tall?" Bodie asks.

"No, big four to five feet tall or about twelve inches for the babies. You know, basic mice." Torie replies.

"Okay, back to the directions. You will go towards a bone doctor named Mediath. He is the only doctor I trust that will help my broken rib." They hear two more cracks. "Nevermind, broken ribs to be exact."

John picked Katie up by the back and started sprinting down the hall. She looked back and saw that the others were falling behind. She didn't care. John was so strong, she would want him to carry her for the rest of their lives. It was lovely as the day that she finally got friends. Probably lovelyer but she didn't care.

When they got to the hospital John asked, "Where exactly is the bone place?"

"I could lead you there. It's right this way if you follow me."Says a man walking up to them. The man's height was average for his age. He looked like he was in his sixties. He had blond hair with some white spots in it and he had blue eyes. "I'm Corbius by the way, and yes, I'm the bone doctor that the princess has probably told you about."

"I haven't met a princess but yes, I have heard about you. I just didn't think you would see this..." Bodie interrupted.

"What, you didn't think I would be this old? Doctors can be old by the way. Thank you very much."Corbius interrupts Bodie

"Yes, old, I just didn't want to say it in a rude way. Who is this princess anyway?" He replies back.

"That man is carrying her. I assume she is the one who is hurt. Am I right?"

The doctor says.

"Hold up, Katie is a princess? I thought she was just an ordinary girl that lives in a kingdom with her parents. No offense Katie." John says in a calm voice.

"None taken, none taken at all." Katie replies.

"That was one mistake, her parents are dead but she doesn't care any more."Corbius says.

"Oh, I'm so sorry about that."

"Well let's get her better. Katie, we will be putting you to sleep while we do some surgery for the ribs that are cracked. We will just be gluing it together with bone glue, that's all."

"Wow, I never thought that this place and on land have so many differences." Parker remarks. "Y'know because on land, we just put a cast and bam, you then wait for it to heal. And then, down here, you just glue it together and put them in a bed."

"I still have you though." Says Katie

The doctor took Katie into a room where the patients and doctors can go in to do surgery.

"John, I have a question. How in the heck are we going to get out of here?" Bodie exclaims while waving his arms in the air to motion at the underland.
