The beginning of the end

Chapter one Alone again

It just happend people started crashing into each other and stepping in to fire and in front of cars."What's going on" I said my tone in current worry, I knew I had to get home and find somewhere else to stay so I ran to my apartment where me and my roommate Bailey stayed."Bailey pack your stuff we have to go" I said " Wait what why?what happened" Bailey said concerned "this town is going hay wire we have to leave and find somewhere else to stay it isn't safe"  "Okay I'll getting a bag and start packing- but wait where are we going?" She said questionable tone "A few floors up" I replied, she nodded and grabbed her bag packing the stuff she needed. Then I started packing,I went to get my bag from under my bed having it already packed:a black tail (gun) broken butterfly (gun) fruit snacks clothes water juice canned goods and my stuffed fox I'm not leaving him anywhere,that should be good. "Hey Bailey you got everything" I asked "Yeah everything good here,you?" "Yeah I'm good".We both then left the apartment carefully walking threw the halls of the the now quiet and empty hallway.Blood stained floors and shattered windows we weren't safe down here, we began running up a few floors trying at doors to see if any were open.We knew that nobody would be home they would be trying to escape from this cruel change.We were hopeless until we got to door 444 it opened we closed it behind us an locked it we put our stuff down and hurried to the tv and turned to the news. "The president..." I said in worry he began to speak " Hello fellow citizens of the United States of America and other this is a live broadcast the worl- we are not safe please stay indoors and lock the doors cover the windows with anything,and prepare for the beginning of the en-" I turn the tv off and look at Bailey "Hurry find something we need something to cover the windows" I say standing and grabbing paper towels,her grabbing newspapers we start taping the windows.the sun has been set as we get ready to sleep "In the morning we get up early and go see what we can find,yeah?" "Yeah that's fine with me Night Jade" Good night Bailey"
