We've been walking for 30 minutes we just arrived at the bridge there was a gate or more likely a wall I grabbed my radio and talked into it "I'm here with a kid if there's anyone here someone called on the radio saying to come here luckily I got that message" the gate opened "whoa" as I walk to the gate a guard came out with a gun a pointed it at us "IS ANYONE INFECTED" "N-no it's just me an her we're fine" then someone came over his radio "Inspect and pat down" he looked back at us "Yes ma'am" he went over to us my face neared in confusion "Don't touch me" he gets closer and grabs me another guard comes out and grabs Ashley "HEY DONT TOUCH HER SHES FINE SHES NOT BIT" he takes my bag and pats me down he takes my hunting knife and give it to the other guard who has already finished paying Ash down.I walk towards Ashley and hug her "You ok kid hm did he hurt you?" "No I'm fine I'm not hurt" then I girl and her dog a Great Dane comes out "So your the one that got the message.My name is Naomi and this is Menacé if you try to harm us or anybody her you will be warned or attacked oh and welcome to legend" "well thanks for the 'warm' welcome" she rubbed the back of her head apologizing "we didn't mean to come off rude sorry about that we'll give you your stuff back after we find you and your kid a place to stay that good?" " yeah that's fine"
"Ashley stay close don't leave my side if you don't trust somebody" she nods.after awhile we got a place to stay and got our stuff back and I tucked Ashley in to bed I took my stuffed fox and put it next to her she hugs it in her sleep,I then left our room to go take a shower and go eat after I got out the shower and put clothes on I we to the center of this little town and went to the cafeteria to eat when I got there I was hit with an aroma from the food "who knew apocalypse food would smell this good" I said to myself "HEY JADE OVER HERE" I looked over to see who called me and seen Naomi and menacé I went over to her I already had a try waiting for me I sat down and asked her if any pork was in it she said it was all cow from her farm and it's her home made recipe after I ate I made a bowl for Ashley knowing she would be hungry when she woken up from her slumber.I went home and put our food in the microwave and went upstairs to sleep as I laid in bed I turned the light off and went to bed "I hope it wasn't just a terrible dream" I said to myself and went to sleep.
