Mackenzie's p.o.v
The light was blinding for a split second but then i saw an opening ahead of me. I ran until I saw a figure and I walked closer to it.
"Ah mackenzie I have been waiting." The strange man that looked oddly familiar said.
"Who? Who are you?" I asked confusion across my face. "Where am I?"
"I'm some one special to Austin and you are in limbo."
"What's your name?"
"Carter."
Carter? I knew that name. I just couldn't put my finger on where I knew it from.
"Come with me. I need to show you something." He said grabbing my wrist and pulling me out of my thought. He brought me to the edge of the whiteness and told me to look down. It was me packing my bags to leave. Then the Austin song came on and I broke down. A single tear shed down my face as I watched past me. The image faded and it showed me cutting. Once again the image faded and showed my lifeless body on life support with Austin crying over me.
"Why mackenzie? I need you please just come back. Please don't die. You have so much to live for. I love you please come back." Austin said tears streaming down his face. I felt tears fall as the image faded out.
"Why did you show me this?" I asked spinning around at the man.
"Because young child you have a choice. To either follow me or to back to Austin."
"Where would we go?"
"Heaven." He said smiling.
I frowned. "I chose to go back to austin." I said.
"You may go back." He said pointing to the stairs that appeared. "And by the way, Austin, he really loves you." Was the last thing I heard before I opened my eyes.
"Mackenzie?" A hoarse voice asked. My heart ached he had been crying because of me.
"Austin!" I said jumping up and giving him a hug.
"I missed you so much. Please don't ever do that again. If you can't stand the hate talk to me don't go and do this okay?" He said looking into my eyes.
"Okay and I'm so sorry Austin. I immediately regretted it. I missed you so much." I said holding him tighter. I whispered in his ear. "I think I might have meet your dad." He let go of me. "What?" I explained to him what had happened. "I'm glad you chose to come back. I don't know what I would have done if you didn't but I think we should call a nurse in." I giggled and he kissed my cheek. I blushed and he pushed the red button. Immediately a nurse came in.
"Yes?" She asked checking Austin out. Austin didn't even notice he just smiled at me.
"We'll my girlfriend just woke up from her coma." Austin said looking at me still.
"Oh okay. Well sweetie how are you feeling?" She asked giving me a dirty look.
"I'm fine just a slight headache." I said smiling sweetly at her. She turned to Austin.
"Okay well ill get her some medicine and come back okay?" Austin nodded and looked back at me with worry on his face. She walked to the door checked Austin out one more time and then left.
"Babe why didn't you tell me your head hurt?" Austin asked coming and laying next to me.
"Because it doesn't matter."
