Everything went black as he experienced death.

And everything went ice cold soon after this, that's what Haru thought, now finding himself awake somewhere submerged and floating inside the middle of an endless ocean of gray-colored water. It was like his vision went grayscale as he awoke in this strangely breathable place.

The only other things there were several chains also floating about around him, he couldn't even touch them as they seemed to avoid him entirely. Along with those were the ominous red light coming from the bottom of the pool and white light coming from the above. A shadowy featureless yet vaguely feminine figure could be seen looking down at him from the surface.

Haru: So this is what happens after death? Color me surprised...

He thought to himself sarcastically, the weightlessness and slowness of it all he was experiencing really messed with his perception of time as he waited for something to happen. Recalling his deal with Drodia when it came time for his death, and now that it's happened, what next?

Slowly, he felt his eyelids grow heavy, he was just about to succumb to this and fall asleep when suddenly, chains wrapped around his limbs, neck, and torso and began forcefully dragging him down as he remained completely powerless to stop this. Finding that he was unable to activate any of his skills or use any of his powers at all.

The following few seconds ended up feeling like days to him, having given up hope, not like he had any left to begin with, and accepted whatever new fate he'll find himself with once he gets to where he was being dragged to by these seemingly unbreakable chains.

A month had now passed from his perspective as he spent all of it just being dragged down by those strange chains. He managed to sleep most of it off luckily for the sake of preserving what little sanity he had left. But still, was this really all the afterlife had to offer?

And finally, he would make it through, coming out of the water from below into the fiery landscapes of hell. The chains that once bound and dragged him had now dissolved into nothing as was now in a free fall. Thanks to the way he came out of the water, he fell face forward.

The sky was dark red and covered in purple clouds while the land was made up of large multiple masses of rock that resembled the iron oxide-covered surface of the planet Mars. All defying gravity and floating at varying heights above another ocean that was beneath it all.

This time around it was an equally endless and vast ocean of glowing hot lava, a fitting sight for a place such as this, which would belch pillars of the molten rock upward periodically much like a geyser.

He stretched one of his hands out at some point and attempts to activate {Bone King} mid-air. Five seconds go by until the hilt of a certain sword bursts out from his hand, the rest of it forming shortly after as Haru brought out his wings to slow his descent.

He ended up landing on one of the smaller land masses, but even then, judging by its looks it could've probably fit the whole of their house in Kretouvell now that he thought about it before activating {Snipe} this time and looking around, trying to get an idea of the realm's geography while his wings retracted back into himself.

Drodia: Welcome to hell, how long will you be staying?

She came up behind him from out of nowhere and scared the living crap out of him, nearly dropping his sword into the ocean of lava thanks to the goddess' little joke.

Haru: Dammit... I thought you were supposed to be with those four? What about the deal?

Drodia: Don't worry about it. Remember, time moves differently in these higher realms.
