"What are you thinking?!" The girl screamed at Leona, her voice echoing around the room. "Everything out there wants you dead! You weren't supposed to go anywhere!" While speaking, she paced, the movement both frantic but also oddly calming.

"Wait, hold on," Leona was still quite clueless to all of this. "When exactly was I told all of this before, and who in hell are you to tell me what to do? I don't even remember how I got here or when, so the least I could do was get myself familiar with the place!" She had shouted back, being fed up with not getting told anything.

By this point, Leona was upset enough to miss the part the girl had said about: "Everything wants to kill you out there" And instead took it as "You are now a prisoner and you cannot leave."

"Firstly, my name is Cordelia, and you were broght here by me when you went under the waves, that was when I told you this. Second, do not scream at me after I saved your mortal, human skin."
Cordelia hissed the last part, sounding very miffed at the fact that a human would dare speak to her like this. As a siren, she didn't believe in human supremacy and thought that most humans were completely inferior to her kind, and should either only be kept as companions or kept close as "friends" so they wouldn't start yet another war.

"What." Leona said bewildered. "Mortal, human skin?! And let me guess, you aren't mortal? I call bullshit."  Leona, now angered, full-on started yelling at Cordelia, so loudly in fact that some on the streets started quickly vacating the area.

Then, Cordelia lost it and changed. Her fingers webbed and elongated, while her skin turned fishlike in some spots. Shimmering like moonlight, and Leona couldn't think anything other than, *It's official, I'm dead, and this is what I've come to be judged by. Either that or I've gone mad.*  But she couldn't say so. Her words didn't want to come out of her mouth. "This can't be real.." she thought.
