After learning about the condition of the Undertale timeline, you couldn't help but feel guilty about everything. You suppose that maybe if you never took that pee in Underfell, you wouldn't be where you are right now. Sighing, your gaze left the cup that sat in your hands, and out to the kitchen window. Out side was dark and gloomy, the sky a dark and raging purple while black clouds littered the air. Squinting your eyes, you tried your hardest to figure out what kind of being was able to do this, was it the one that called himself X-Gaster?

Your thoughts were cut short when the front door was slammed open, a tall skeleton running into the house with haste before shutting the door quickly. You watched as the skeleton clicked every lock on the front door, double checking before letting out a sigh in relief. He looked around, only to notice that every light in the house was turned off, and then his gaze met yours. He stiffened at the sight of you sitting at the kitchen table, shrouded in complete darkness.

The tall skeleton stumbled backwards a bit, watching your every move as you lifted your cup up, taking a small sip of the liquid in it. "A-And Who Might You Be...?" The skeleton questioned, making you blink in turn. You eyed him up and down, assuming that the skeleton was related to Sans in some way. You turned away from the skeleton, not giving him a firm answer and continued to look out of the window in the kitchen.

The skeleton was about to shout something upstairs, only for Sans to slug his way into the living room and stand next to the taller skeleton. "Don't worry, bro. This is just that girl I've been talking about. She hit her head outside so I'm trying to heal her in the meantime." Sans explained rather slowly, reaching up and scratching his head.

The taller skeleton just nodded his head. "Well, If That's The Case, I Would Like To Tell You Now That The Streets Are Cleared Right Now. Go Get Whatever You Need Now." Then, the skeleton walked upstairs and shut his bedroom door quietly. Now, you and Sans sat in an odd silence, your breathing and some screams from outside filling in the gaps in the air.

You were the first to break the awkward silence, setting down your cup onto the coffee table and standing up, pushing your chair out from behind you. "Sans, is there a library that's um... still intact that I could raid?" You asked the shorter individual as you walked over to the area Sans was standing. Sans looked outside, furrowing his brows in slight worry.

Sans weighed his options before sighing and looking over at you. "I don't know Y/n, it's pretty dangerous outside. We all aren't sure what's happening in the AU and there's always that man-!"

You reached over and planted a hand on Sans's skull, causing both him and you to freeze. You hated touching people you barely knew, but you also knew that if you didn't do this, there would be no convincing Sans to take you anywhere that was outside. Did you feel guilty about gaslighting Sans? Only a little, but at this point there were so many skeletons after your soul that you could care less about which ones you manipulated or not. Sans was a good guy trying to do good things, but sometimes abusing that good to achieve your own needs is the only things you can do.

Sans sighed in bliss as he let you rub the top of his skull gently before muttering a small 'ok'. You smiled and retracted you hand from Sans's skull and opted to rest it on his hooded shoulder. Sans gave you an uncertain look upon seeing you throw your fans over your shoulder, as if you knew there was gonna be danger out there. Sans shook his skull and prepared his magic for the trip, at least you knew there was danger and you weren't just throwing yourself out into the open.
