This isn't a normal chapter, as this was long overdue, hints this book not being updated for a year. I just wanted to give you guys some closure on how this book was actually supposed to end instead of leaving you like this.
I started this book when I was fifteen, and of course, as the years went on, my hyperfixation on undertale/underverse has been few and far between. There were some days where I really loved the series and others were I didn't really care for it. I don't want this to be an excuse anymore, so I'm going to give you guys what you deserve.
Here is the brief ending of Torn like I had written out. I kept it brief so you can use your imagination, as I don't like limiting you all, lmao.
Starting from where we left off:
You run into the woods with a blood trail following, to which Dust follows you.
The two of you had a small confrontation before he attacks and tries to capture you.
It is in this moment you have a brief flashback to your previous life, Dream explaining how your powers worked.
Turning back to the present, an array of flowers is launched from the ground and overtakes Dust, the skeleton confused.
You use this to escape and drop into the Doodle Sphere where you realize that Ink isn't back yet.
From there you sit down and just think about everything that had happened through out your life, and start questioning as to why exactly you were reborn.
After a while a rift is eventually opened and boom bam hi you're currently in under verse 0.7 part two.
You do the whole shabam before being dropped into a blank AU
It's here where you realize that even in death you can't escape these crazy son of a bitches
so what do you do?
Duh, go to the soul keepers lmao.
From there you explain who and what you are, and what you used to be, to the soul keepers, to which they drop lore on you.
Basically they tell you that you weren't even supposed to be reborn in the first place, that you were supposed to have remained dead.
Your assassinator was none other than epic himself as he was directed by the soul keepers to get rid of you.
He did the job, amazing job, but he didn't take into account how bat shit crazy everyone was for you. So basically, when he thought you were dead, you were actually being resurrected in a very cult like manners. Everyone say thanks dream, ink and swap!!
Even though you were revived you were kinda just tossed into a random AU, so that's why everyone was chasing after you. they wanted to be the first person you saw and fell in love with, so it was basically a race against the clock to see who would get to you first. And unluckily for you error did.
From there the normal plot continues and now you're fully aware of what your main purpose of life was.
It was to be just a little play thing for these batshit crazy skeletons, that's all.
In the end you decide to give up, stating that you don't want to live like this anymore, to which the soul keepers acknowledge this and remove you from the living world.
HOWEVER, everyone finds out abt this and don't like it.
Here is the ending few paragraphs I had written for after your soul is taken again by the soul keepers.
You opened your eyes with a yawn, sitting upwards with a long stretch before kicking your legs off the edge of your bed, groggily looking at the floor. You had the weirdest dream last night, but you're not sure what had sparked it, maybe it was the food you had eaten before bed? With a hum and a shrug, you stepped out of your bed and walked through the empty halls, your bare feet padding against the hardwood floors that littered your house.
Once in the kitchen, you smiled at the smell of sizzling bacon, choosing to ignore the odd glare your mother was sending your way. You only smiled when your twin brother turned the corner and cheered out your name, patting your head roughly when he was in reach. You giggle and pushed his hand off you, choosing to drag him to the kitchen table, where your father was already seated.
You and your brother chatted about nonsense while your mother finished up breakfast, sliding both of you your fair share of food. After breakfast, you and your brother decided that now would be a good time to go outside and perform, as money was slowly running tight. Your mother was sick, and your father's job only paid so much, so you and your brother had to do what you could.
Once reaching your bedroom, you dressed yourself appropriately before opening up your drawer, hands briefly grabbing your fans. You stopped when there was a small strum in your heart as you picked up the fans, an odd sense of deja vu crossing over you. Shaking your head, you decided to dismiss the idea, rushing outwards to go and meet up with your brother, a tight lipped smile on your face.
What even are the chances that this has already happened to you anyways?
Again, i'm really sorry this story had to end this way, as I really wanted to give it the ending it deserved, but things don't always go as planned.
I wanted the ending to kind of represent how timelines keep looping, and how you're never going to truly be free.
Thank you for all the support you have given this book (even though it was pretty ass) and I hope this ending with SOMEWHAT suffice.
I know it's not the ending you were hoping for, as it wasn't the one I was, but I figured it'd be better to do this instead of leaving you guys. Or giving you guys half assed chapters that sucked, I don't want you guys to go through that.
Thank you again, and if you're still interested in my works, you can check my profile!
I hope you all enjoyed this book, as it has some good memories.
