The sound of the waves crashing onto the shore could be heard from the luxurious villa of Khun Sam which was situated near the beach.The sunlight which had shone thru the window panes made me opened my eyes slowly.However,I could not find anyone beside me.I looked at the clock and was surprised to realize that it was only six in the morning.Yesterday,the sweet-faced lady had said that she will be sleeping all day in bed by my side but I wonder where she was.

I got off from the bed sleepily,wearing only a long white shirt as my pajamas. As I opened the door, the smell of burnt food began to assult
my nose.I frowned a little bit and slowly tiptoed down to the kitchen to find a busy Khun Sam with an apron strapped around her waist.She had been busy with something.Cooking food of course, which was an obvious thing to do in a kitchen however it was still amusing to find a wealthy Mhom Luang who had never touch any cooking utensils before ever since I have known her to be in the kitchen.

    "What are you doing?" I asked despite knowing what was going on.

Khun Sam turned around with a frown across her face and replied sheepishly.

"I'm in the kitchen. What else could I been doing besides cooking?"

     "That's why I'm asking. Normally,isn't that my job?" I inquired.

   "I was trying to prepare breakfast for you but why is it so difficult to do so? It's even harder than negotiating the price of a land in Sukhumvit for a new office."

Her brows were tightly knitted together as she turned off the stove. I walked over to her to see what she had done and began to giggle at her attempted Thai scrambled eggs which look more like an Oreo cake mixture.Not only it was black colored but it was also withered.

   "I'm incompetent" she sobbed.

   "Well you can't ask a dog to climb a tree like a monkey right?You are good in working so why don't you just focus on that?Let me take care of the household chores" I replied brightly.

   "Are you calling me a dog?" Khun Sam asked while glaring at me.

  "I'm just making a comparison" I answered defensively.

"Fine.I'm never going to cook again.From now on,let's just buy and eat."

As she was just about to throw the eggs into the bin,I grabbed her wrist before shaking my head slowly.

"Don't do that please.You had cooked for me so how could I not taste it?" I implored.

"But it doesn't look edible" She protested.

"Khun Sam had ever eaten what look like not edible before right?" I replied while raising my eyebrow seductively at her.The sweet-faced lady looked at me and slowly smiled.

"True. I had ever eaten it before"

"So this egg is Mon's. I will be eating it with rice as it should go well together"

She finally relented at my insistence and let me eat those scrambled eggs despite initially insisting on throwing it away.Then,she sat with her chins resting on her hands nervously waiting for my reactions. Her feeling was one who had attentively did something for the first time and nervously waited for the outcome.I ate with a smile upon my face and praising her lovingly.
