 My parents started asking me why I had been staying with them for quite sometime as usually, I would not leave Khun Sam for too long. Each time they tried to asked me for a reason, I would make up some excuses to rush back to my room as I did not know how to answer their questions. If I were to say that we fought, it would be very unlikely as they knew we were very much in love with each other. If I were to answer that we had ended our relationship that would be extremely painful for me to bear or ever to say it out. Besides, Khun Sam had never said that we had broken up or for me to stop loving her. However, she had never told me that she still love me ever since her surgery. The biggest escape I could think of from my parents would be heading back to work.

 The next morning as I was about to head to work by taking a bus, my mother came to my room to ask why was there a need for me to go back to work and if I was, was Khun Sam going to be fetching me. As my mother was helping me to rearrange my make up set, I quickly sneaked out of the house so that I would not have to answer her questions.

 It felt strange to be heading to work by bus after so long. The bus was crowded with people and the traffic congestion was horrible but somehow I managed to reach the office on time. My colleagues were surprised to see me as they thought I was still on sabbatical which I had taken early to care for Khun Sam after her surgery.

"Yah, why are you staring at me like that? I just reached work " I inquired when t I was about to sit at my cubical.

"Nothing. As shocked as I am, I'm glad that you came back. When you came in just now, suddenly it just reminded me of the first day, you entered this office." She replied with a smile while shaking her head.

"Well Khun Sam is healed now so I can come back to the office" I stated as a matter-of-factly.

"That's true. Anyway, do you know that you are not the only one who gives us surprises?" Yah divulged while come to my cubicle. Yah was my mentor when I first joined the office and now her cubicle was in front of mine.

"Surprises?" I repeated slowly but before I could determined further from Yah, Khun Sam came out from her private office. The moment our eyes met, she stopped and went to my cubicle.

"Mon" she called out.

"Good morning Khun Sam" I greeted her formally. Everyone present turned and observed us with a stunned expression. Usually, Khun Sam and I would act casually to each other even in front of our colleagues.

"Can you follow me to office? There's something I need to discuss with you" She requested.

 I followed her into her private office. The moment I sat down, Khun Sam closed the bind to give us privacy then she look at me strangely.

"Are you working here too?" she asked.

"Yes I'm an officer in this office" I replied.

"I didn't know" she claimed.

"Khun Sam, you still don't remember anything? Or you just don't give a damn what I'm doing?" I mocked.

"Are you being sarcastic?" she alleged.

"I'm just stating the fact" I answered confidently.

"So if you have been an officer here all along, why is only today then you come in for work?" she demanded with a straight face.

"I took a long leave to calm myself down and now I'm able to think clearly so I came back" I lied.

"Calm yourself down about what?" she questioned with a frown on her face.

"About everything especially on continuing a one-sided love" I replied.

 Khun Sam stared at me. She seemed to be more energetic now. She nodded and said
