I woke up to the sound of shouting.

My hands are throbbing as the rope the men had tied again dig further into my skin. It feels as if it's cutting away at my wrists, sinking in.

"No! We have to wait till alpha Liam gets back! If we make the wrong decision he'll kill us and send us to hell in a wooden box." I hear Joseph's desperate voice beg.

What's happening?

"What wrong decision? She's a fucking rogue. Let's get answers on why she's here then we will discuss this after." I heard peter snarl.

"Wake up." Dan nudges me roughly with his foot.

I open my eyes while coughing. I give a hurtful look to mike. His eyes fill with sadness as he bows his head in shame.

"Alpha Liam will be returning tomorrow. In the mean time, we wanted to have a little fun today." Dan snickers. "So, we want to whip you in front of the pack. What do you think?" He asks, with sarcasm of course. He clearly didn't want my opinion.

"Just kill me now. I would rather die than meet your stupid alpha. He sounds like a twat anyway." I spit in Dan's face. What a conceited bunch of blokes.

His eyes fill with rage as he slaps me hard on the cheek. I let out a whimper as I look up to them. They're all monsters, except Mike. So why would I care if they killed me now?

"Well, it's settled, we will whip her. Peter you get the whips and I'll get the stand ready." Dan says as he walks out the room. The pure lack of emotion the men show is evil. Pure evil.

Peter walks out the other door, obeying his colleague and gathering the equipment.

And I'm left with mike.

"It's the rules to whip you whilst you're in your underwear, I'm sorry." He says, tears brimming my eyes. "I'm so sorry."

He takes off my clothes and places them in my backpack. They had taken everything out when they found me, but wanted the alpha to see the objects I had, so they placed everything back.

"I know this is a lot to ask for, but I'd appreciate if you'd let me speak to my brother over the phone. I need to let him know what's happening and I can assure you that I won't tell him where I am." I plead with him and notice it works as his eyes soften whilst nodding slowly.

He reaches into his pocket and grabs his phone out, which is surprisingly similar to the one I owned.

"The number?" He asks.

I tell him the number and he types it in to his phone. He holds the phone up to my ear and presses call.

"Hello, this is john." My brother answers. He sounded down which broke my heart, I hoped deep down he was truly okay.

"John it's me, Amber! I can't talk long so I just want to say I love you and I hope you're ok. I might not see you ever again as I've decided I'm moving overseas." I say, fighting back the tears.

I could not tell him I was going to die. It would rip him to pieces. He wouldn't ever forgive himself, even if it truly had nothing to do with him or his future leadership.

"What? No! That wasn't the plan! Please stay!" He begs on, "Trust me, once mother and father step down from their role you can come back and I won't force you into anything!" My heart leapt at his proposal, but I knew mother and father were not doing this because of their leadership, but yet because they were my parents.

"Bye john. Tell Tanesha I love her and I hope you have a good life. Please don't call me. I'm sorry, but it's for the best." I cry. This is not for the best.
