"You can't keep leaving!"

"Y/n it's my job!"

"There's this thing called a fucking break Neteyam!"

"You want to continue living here don't you?"

"You want to keep living don't you?"

He spits. "Do not! I'm saving your home!"

"You're putting yourself in danger! I didn't ask for that!"

"You don't have to!"

I shoved him away. "I don't want you to go out there!"

"Well what do you want me to do? Let the village burn? Let the villagers die?"

"Neteyam! There are others fighting, you don't need to!"

"And those others have mates too who don't mind!"

"They don't mind? Oh my god, you have no idea!"

"I'm protecting you!"

"I can protect myself!"

"Against a whole army?!"

"Well you can't!"

He scoffs,stopping, then his tongue roams around his cheek as he looks away. He nods swiftly. "No, Neteyam I didn't mean it like tha-." I soften, tears coming up in my eyes.

"No. It proves how much faith you have in me."

"No Neteyam-."

"Save it." And he walks off.
